Post-quantum-resistant cryptographic system and methods

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device including a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations of receiving a smart contract for tracking a position of a mobile device from a quantum blockchain; issuing a token uniquely identifying location data for the position of the mobile device; receiving location data including the token from the mobile device, wherein the position of the mobile device is determined by displacement from an initial position using a quantum accelerometer; verifying the location data using the token; and storing the location data in the quantum blockchain. A system as provided herein includes a processor and a memory that stores first executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising receiving qubits from a quantum sensor device via a quantum communication channel established between the system and the quantum sensor device; providing quantum input data, derived from the qubits, to a quantum machine learning model; and adjusting a property of a communication network based on an output of the quantum machine learning model, produced in response to the providing of the quantum input data, resulting in an increased performance of a mobile application utilizing resources enabled via the communication network.

The operations can include receiving proposed contract data representative of a proposed contract for access by an application of a user equipment device to resources of a network slice usable for the access by the application. The operations can further include, based on the proposed contract data, storing governing contract data representative of a governing contract in a storage device, with the governing contract being selected to control the access by the application to the resources of the network slice. The operations can further include scheduling use of the resources of the network slice by the application based on the governing contract data.

The technologies described herein are generally directed to facilitating the allocation, scheduling, and management of network slice resources. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include selecting a resource configuration for a network slice based on characteristics of a user device and historical data related to the user device, resulting in a selected resource configuration. The operations can further include facilitating communicating resource configuration data representative of the selected resource configuration for the network slice to a network device for allocation to the user device connected to the network device. The operations can further include facilitating allocating resources to the network slice in accordance with the selected resource configuration.

Management of persistent network slices by a distributed learning system in a 5G or other next generation wireless network

In multicarrier networks mobile devices can be distributed amongst carriers based on different criteria. However, prioritization may cause certain devices to end up on a carrier that is not optimal for the network. When there is a deployment of different types of cells (e.g., macro cells, small cells, etc.), the cells can use the same frequency. Consequently, a priority value contained within a system information broadcast message can override the mobile default cell transition procedures and thus select a neighboring cell based on additional criteria. Thus, small cells can be deployed to offload traffic from macro cells in spite of the small cells and macro cells operating in the same frequency band.

Facilitation of idle mode cell reselection for 5G or other next generation network

In one example, a method and apparatus for optimizing a software defined network configuration are disclosed. In one example, the method determines a first network relative performance parameter for a current configuration of a network, based on respective weighting profiles associated with services for which the network carries data. The method then determines a second network relative performance parameter for a proposed configuration of the network, based on the respective weighting profiles associated with the services for which the network carries data. The proposed configuration is implemented in the network when the second network relative performance parameter is greater than the first network relative performance parameter.

Method and apparatus for optimizing a software defined network configuration

Beamforming techniques can improve base station transmission power and user equipment (UE) sensitivity reception. For example, beamforming can create a narrow beam, which can concentrate signal power in a much smaller region. Combined with base station (gNB) requests and UE location data, an accurate beam can be generated to cover a desired area. 5G base station broadcasts can utilize a globally unique cell identifier (e.g., physical cell identifier), and a locally unique cell identifier (e.g., new radio cell global identifier) to facilitate beamforming and mitigate handover failure.

The operations can further include generating, based on the control channel utilization value and a threshold, for a first cell of the group of cells, a channel allocation that can increase the balance of use of control channel resources and data channel resources for the first cell, and configuring the first cell of the group of cells to allocate control channel resources and data channel resources of the first cell based on the channel allocation.
