A gyratory crusher, which includes a bowl, a head assembly and a cylindrical eccentric assembly. The bowl is shaped as a cone and has a wider opening approaching a top portion of the crusher, and an inner shell, which is backed by a concrete outer shell. The head assembly is shaped as a cone, and is centrally located within the bowl. The head assembly also includes a central mainshaft which is located on an inclined axis within the bowl. The cylindrical eccentric assembly includes an eccentric central volume in which the main shaft is held so that, as the eccentric assembly rotates, the mainshaft gyrates, with the eccentric assembly rotating about a center hole within a central hub of the crusher. A method of making or retrofitting a crushing device such as, for example, a cone crusher or other gyratory crusher, is also provided.

Concrete crusher

A crusher device includes a frame, a rotating mechanism positioned in the frame, and a plurality of curtains connected to the frame. The curtains are spaced from the rotating mechanism to define a passageway along which material moves while being crushed. A first curtain is connected to the frame via at least one first cylinder. The first curtain is connected to a second curtain via at least one pivotal connection and at least one second cylinder. The at least one second cylinder is retracted automatically when the at least one first cylinder is forcibly retracted to adjust spacing between the first curtain and the rotating mechanism due to an uncrushable. The automatic retraction of the at least one second cylinder rotates the second curtain away from the rotating mechanism. Such movement widens the spacing between the rotating mechanism and the curtains minimizing damage from tramp or uncrushables.

Crusher device

A modular bottom shell of a multi-shell crusher device, the shell includes a central hub having a centered cylindrical support hole and at least two support arms extending orthogonally from the centered cylindrical support hole, each support arm having an end plate, and wherein at least one of the two support arms has an orthogonal bore therein which extends from within the centered cylindrical support hole to an outer portion of the support arm; and at least two outer shell sections having an annular inner surface, and wherein each of the outer shell sections has an upper surface and a lower surface, the upper and lower surfaces extending from one end of the outer shell section to the other end of the outer shell, and a first vertical end plate on one end of the outer shell section and a second vertical end plate on the other end of the outer shell section, and wherein each vertical end plate has at least one bore therein, which has a corresponding bore within one of the end plates of the support arm.

Modular shell for crusher device

A gearbox assembly for a gyratory crusher and/or cone crusher, which includes a drive shaft having a rotational movement, and a drive shaft gear attached to a distal end of the drive shaft. The drive shaft gear imparts a rotational movement of the drive shaft to a first gearing assembly, the first gearing assembly imparting a second rotational movement to a second gearing assembly, the second gearing assembly imparting a third rotational movement of the second gearing assembly to drive a ring gear, and wherein the ring gear is attached to and rotates an eccentric assembly of the gyratory crusher and/or cone crusher. The cone crusher is preferably configured to crush rock, stone, ore or minerals. A method of making or retrofitting a crushing device such as, for example, a cone crusher or other gyratory crusher, is also provided.

Gearbox assembly for gyratory and cone crushers

A systemand method for clearing a crushing deviceof tramp material is disclosed. The system comprises at least one dual-acting cylinderwhich serves to both maintain a constant crushing force between a headand bowl, and also provide a clearing stroke to facilitate passage of said tramp material. The body of the at least one dual-acting cylinderis mounted securely to a main framein a self-centering, self-seating arrangement by cylinder mount. The piston rodof the at least one dual-acting cylinderis directly or indirectly mounted securely to an adjustment ringin a self-centering, self-seating arrangement. Crusher clearing system

The apparatus is a gyratory crusher in which all the wear parts can be removed and replaced from the top of the crusher, thus eliminating the need to remove large, heavy parts from below the crusher. This is accomplished by constructing the crusher so that the eccentric and the piston assembly can be lifted up and out sequentially. The piston assembly then includes all the wear parts within the lowest assembly, the hydraulic support, so that those parts can be replaced without access to the underside of the crusher. If necessary, the hydraulic support within which the piston assembly is held can also be removed from above the crusher.

Top service gyratory crusher

A method of measuring one or more motion parameters of a main shaft in a gyratory or cone crusher is disclosed. Signals are directed from a stationary sensor means located apart from the main shaft to one or more signal reflective surfaces situated on a target located on or adjacent to an upper portion of the main shaft. The target rotates and otherwise moves in unison with the movement of the main shaft. From the elapsed time the distances from the sensor the reflective surfaces on the target are determined. Analyzing the distances over time will yield information on the movement of the main shaft.
