Furthermore, a machine arranged for dispensing a disposable glove is described, the machine comprising: an articulated arm arranged in use for contacting and retaining a first part of the glove and for moving said glove from a first position in which the glove is located in a cartridge containing one or more gloves, to a second position in which a second part of the said glove is able to be contacted with and retained by an anchoring means to open the cuff to allow a user to don the glove.

An implement for applying a volume of liquid to a treatment surface includes a support onto which is mounted a receptacle. The receptacle defines a reservoir space which receives the liquid. The receptacle includes a wall having a working surface that is used to spread the liquid over the treatment surface. The wall is resiliently deformable such that in use the working surface maintains contact with the treatment surface when spreading the liquid. The implement is used in applying a transdermal lotion to the axilla area of a user. A system for transdermal administration of a physiological active agent from a liquid composition and a method of conducting the same are also provided.

Scent dispensing device

Hand-held dispensing devices for dispensing and applying a substance to the skin of a host are described. The devices include a hollow body, a capsule mounted within the hollow body for containing the substance, a nozzle mounted within the hollow body communicating with the substance in the capsule, an actuator to cause metered quantities of the substance to be dispensed from the capsule through the nozzle, a shroud defining an exit space for receiving the substance emerging from the nozzle, and a cap detachably mounted on the shroud to selectively open and close the nozzle and thereby control escape of the substance from the capsule.
