A magazine is disclosed including a storage tube and a biasing member positioned within the storage tube. A strip engages the follower and extends toward a distal end of the storage tube. A display member is coupled to the strip and is viewable through the storage tube. The display member displays a state of the strip. The strip may be coupled to the follower and wrap around an axle or spool engaging an axle. The display member may be a window such that a portion of the strip around the axle is viewable. The strip may include visual indicators that are visible through the window and indicate a number of rounds within the magazine. A switch may be selectively activated to illuminate a portion of the strip viewable through the window.

A molded or plastic composite snowshoe is formed of two assembled sections, in a way that imparts flexibility to the snowshoe, allowing some degree of torsional twisting or warping flexibility so that the snowshoe adapts to uneven terrain. In a principal embodiment the molded snowshoe is divided into forward and aft sections along a line slightly behind the nose area and near the pivot axis in the case of a pitch-pivoting binding. Joints between sections are in narrow rims at left and right, at opposed sides of a large central opening for the crampon/binding and boot. The joints are designed to securely hold the forward and aft molded sections together but to allow a degree of torsion between them when needed. Steel structural traction rails extend across the joints but are constructed and secured to the snowshoe sections in a manner that preserves the desired flexibility.

An apparatus for determining the location of a wall outlet on wallboard prior to the wallboard being permanently secured includes a body portion that is releasably secured to the outlet box and a plurality of outwardly facing marking pins that form divots in the wallboard when it is temporarily placed in position over the outlet box. After forming the divots and removing the wallboard, the apparatus is then replaced in the divots to show the location of the outlet box on the wallboard from the position of the markings. The apparatus can be traced to show a cutting line for forming an opening in the wallboard to accommodate the outlet box.
