A method for providing dynamic information in real time regarding weather conditions, emergency situations, navigational cues, and location-specific alerts. Informational data sets are collected from a plurality of different sensors, which are affixed to a location of interest, and received at a processor that interprets the informational data sets to generate a set of lighting commands. The lighting commands are transmitted to a lighting control system that is operably coupled to the lighting system of the location of interest. The lighting system in the location of interest is activated in a lighting pattern based on the lighting commands to covey the information contained in the informational data sets to the individuals in the location of interest.

System and method for adaptive wayfinding

The present disclosure provides for a novel pig design and method of retrieval based on thermal ablation. The pig comprises an external layer and an inner core, where the inner core further comprises at least one incendiary charge comprising at least one exothermic material. When ignited via an ignition source, the incendiary charge releases the exothermic material into one or more thermal dispersion channels. The exothermic material melts the interior of these thermal dispersion channels thereby distributing the exothermic material throughout the pig device causing its destruction via thermal ablation. The destroyed pig can then be easily retrieved from its location in a pipe, as detected via radio signals, without the need for costly excavation of large sections of the pipe.

A electro-mechanical device for measuring the angle made by two rotatably joined members comprising a pair of rotatably connected elongated arms and electrical circuit means mounted on one of the arms and associated with the rotatable pin connector of the arms. The circuit, powered by a battery, encodes the angle of the pin preferably via a potentiometer and transmits the information to a decoding device, preferably a voltmeter, and then to a digital display device also mounted on one of the arms.
