A universally adjustable firearm stock is provided having adjustments for comb, cast, length of pull and butt pad height. The stock has an adapter (receiver model specific) to connect a frame to the receiver. An end of a mount passes through a slot through a frame seat. A cast piece is received within the seat and has a cast hole (center hole&#x2014;no cast, offset hole&#x2014;cast). The rearward extending end of the mount passes through the cast hole, wherein any offset in the cast hole results in an angular cast. The comb is vertically adjustable relative to the frame. Two rods are extendable relative to the frame to adjust the length of pull. A butt plate has two slots wherein the height of a butt pad relative to the rods is adjustable.

A method, computer program product, and system for providing launchable application source code are presented. A determination is made regarding which target platforms a launchable application executable will be run on. Once the platforms have been determined, a cross platform executable is generated using the launchable application source code. Platform specific executables are also generated for each selected platform. The cross platform executable is then combined with the platform specific executable for the platform to provide the platform independent launchable application. The platform specific executable is launched by an Operating System as part of a system service, such as a screensaver, and calls the cross platform executable which is executed on a virtual machine running on the platform.

Method for developing platform independent launchable applications

In a programmed computer system, normal processing results generated by a called method are returned to one or more calling methods by an exception rather than by the more conventional single-type return value. The programmer is granted flexibility through the ability to use multiple normal return types while retaining strong data typing. Better programming practices are promoted through the use of a single exception-technique for handling normal results as well as abnormal (i.e. error) results. The disclosed technique can be used with existing programming languages/environments such as the Java&#xae; language, and can provide a basis for new languages/environments that are specifically tailored to this processing technique.

Methods and apparatus for exception-based programming

Various embodiments of a system and method for generating software documentation are disclosed. A software documentation generator may input a variety of information sources. In one embodiment, these information sources may include various types of files such as application source code files, tag library files, tag library descriptors (TLD), library source code, web services description language (WSDL) files, configuration files, defect reports, and text files. The software documentation generator may analyze each source to determine its type and use this information to extract documentation data from the source according to the format of the data included in that source. The software documentation generator may reformat the documentation data extracted from each source into a uniform format and aggregate the uniformly formatted data into a uniformly formatted aggregate input document. The software documentation generator may transform this document into one or more sets of software documentation in a specified format.

A method of direct extraction of cellular material from a tissue sample which involves: forming an image field of cells of the tissue sample utilizing a microscope, identifying at least one zone of cells of interest from the image field of cells which at least one zone of cells of interest includes different types of cells than adjacent zones of cells, and extracting the at least one zone of cells of interest from the tissue sample. The extracted zone(s) of cells is subjected to analysis. The overall process of identifying, extracting, transporting, and analyzing the extracted zones(s) of cells can be fully automated.
