The push-button switches are low profile and configured for aperture-free mounting, and the button covers are configured to convey information and have improved characteristics.

A gaming machine is provided with easily installable and serviceable components. The gaming machine includes a gaming cabinet having a main door and a lower door. A lock assembly is attached to the gaming cabinet. The lock assembly has a lock support with front panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. At least gaming machine access control device is disposed in the front panel of the lock support, and a flange is disposed on the first side panel to connect with a mount on the gaming cabinet. A hinge pin extends through the second side panel of the lock support about which the lock assembly rotates when the main door of the gaming cabinet is open. A subwoofer is slidably mounted to a platform in the gaming machine and is secured in place with a locking element via a single fastener.

A gaming machine has a cabinet which defines one or more interior areas and has at least one access door or panel which is movably mounted to the cabinet to selectively provide access to the interior area(s). A door control comprises a scissor arm and a door shock. The scissor arm comprises first and second links which are rotatably connected at a joint and connect to the cabinet and access door, thus permitting a wide range of movement of the access door. The door shock mounts to the cabinet and the scissor arm, thus controlling movement of the scissor arm.

The currency acceptor may be moved from a first, lowered position to a second, raised position along a substantially vertical path. The raised position may comprise a service position where the acceptor is readily accessible for service.

The ear hook assembly includes a hook portion () that is configured to slip over a user's ear, and a rotatable arm portion () that is configured to rotate around an axis. Rotation of the rotatable arm portion around the axis causes a cam action to actuate a switch to power on and off the headset. The ear bud assembly includes a speaker to play audio, and optionally includes a microphone to receive verbal inputs. The ear bud assembly is coupled to the ear hook assembly so that the ear bud assembly rotates with the rotatable arm portion, and also slides vertically along the axis around which the rotatable arm portion rotates.
