The present disclosure relates to a control circuit for a variable displacement pump in a vehicle transmission, including: a regulator valve configured to regulate displacement control fluid to the variable displacement pump; and a response limiter in communication with the regulator valve, configured to mitigate pressure oscillations in the control circuit.

A system controlling pressure in a transmission including a variable displacement pump, a circuit carrying fluid from the pump to the transmission, a valve using fluid in said circuit to regulate pressure that controls displacement of the pump, a source of control pressure including an accumulator, a first spring acting with said source causing the valve to change the regulated pressure, and a second spring acting with feedback pressure from said circuit to oppose said change.

The sensor, for detecting torque of the output shaft, is mounted on friction reduction members such as bushings supporting the output shaft. In another transmission, the sensor is alternatively mounted to a transmission case.

A pump assembly includes a pump housing including an inner surface, a pump inlet and an excess flow passage, a filter assembly including a spout extending into the housing, and an insert located within and secured to the housing, and including a first surface spaced from the inner surface and producing therebetween an annular nozzle communicating with said excess flow passage, the nozzle directing a first fluid stream exiting the excess flow passage toward a second fluid stream exiting the spout, the fluid streams flowing toward the pump inlet.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle transmission with jet pump. The jet pump includes a hydraulic control system that has a nozzle fitted between a first and second housing. The nozzle is separable from the first and second housing. The hydraulic control system is configured to produce a jet stream of fluid through a center section of the nozzle.

A jacking screw for attaching a first panel to a second panel which provides a force in the axial direction of the screw when the screw rotates in a first direction to jack the first panel down to the second panel and which provides a force in the axial direction of the screw with respect to the panel when the screw is rotated in the opposite direction to pry the first panel away from the second panel. The jacking screw has a screw, a ferrule surrounding and coaxial to the screw shaft, and a knob. The first end of the ferrule is attachable to a panel and the second end has an outwardly protruding annular step. The knob is attached to the head of the screw and Ahas a downwardly extending generally cylindrical portion, coaxial to the screw shaft and the ferrule and the downwardly extending cylindrical portion secures the knob to the ferrule allowing for rotational movement of the knob with respect to the ferrule but allowing substantially no axial movement of the knob with respect to the ferrule.
