In one example, a method to manufacture a magnetic sensor, comprises providing an electrolyte solution, submersing a substrate in the electrolyte solution, submersing a plurality of ingots in the electrolyte solution, wherein the ingots comprises a metal that is magnetic, and depositing the metal on the substrate by applying a voltage between the metal ingot and the substrate to result in magnetic alloy layer on the substrate. Other examples and related methods are also disclosed herein.

A barrier panel system and a method of installing the barrier panel system is provided. The barrier panel system includes a barrier panel having a top and a bottom. The panel includes at least one channel extending from the top to the bottom of the barrier panel. A removable jet assembly unit can be connected to the panel within the channel. The removable jet assembly unit includes at least one cutter tool pipe which is connected to a jet head and at least one vacuum manifold. The jet head at the bottom of the cutter tool pipe delivers and directs the pressurized stream to transform the ground material into a form which is easily removable by a vacuum connected to the vacuum manifold. As the vacuum removes the ground matter, an opening is formed in the ground allowing the panel to sink. The barrier panel also includes interlocking features on the sides allowing them to be easily attached to one another horizontally to form an interconnected barrier wall system.

A packaged article including an adhesive-sided article, such as an adhesive bandage, and packaging formed of top and bottom backing sheets with a release layer disposed either directly on the bottom backing sheet facing the adhesive side of the article or on release paper carried on the bottom backing sheet. The facing surfaces of the top backing sheet and bottom backing sheet peripherally surrounding the adhesive-sided article have cohesive surfaces. An adhesive strip, preferably a double-sided adhesive strip, attaches the non-adhesive side of the adhesive-sided article to the top backing sheet. The top sheet is used as an applicator for placing the article onto a target surface, such as a patient's skin. The cohesive surface of the top sheet surrounding the article does not adhere to the target surface. A release layer applied directly on the bottom backing sheet eliminates additional material and waste.

Packaging for adhesive-sided articles to allow one-handed application

A levee barrier panel to form a levee retaining wall has a top and a bottom and a plurality of apertures extending from the top to the bottom of the levee barrier panel. A cutter tool extends through to the bottom of each panel to transform the levee composition into a slush whereby a vacuum removably attached to the aperture sucks out the slush thereby forming an opening in the levee. The levee barrier panel is then lowered into the opening.

An assembly apparatus, preferably in the form of a package with a foldable reclosable cover, for dispensing adhesive backed articles. Such articles are singly packaged in a separable envelope having a bottom backing sheet that is attached by an anchoring region to the assembly apparatus and a top support sheet that is removable with the adhesive-backed article as a unit from the bottom backing sheet for application to a target area using the top support sheet as an applicator. The assembly apparatus can include a mounting hole and is disposable with the remaining bottom backing sheets when the last adhesive-backed article is dispensed.

A packaged article including an adhesive-sided article, such as an adhesive bandage, a release paper facing the adhesive side thereof, and packaging top support and bottom backing sheets. The facing surfaces of the top support and bottom backing sheets peripherally surrounding the adhesive-sided article have cohesive surfaces. An adhesive strip, preferably a double-sided adhesive strip, attaches the non-adhesive side of the adhesive-sided article to the top support sheet. Relative strength adhesives and cohesives are employed so that the bottom sheet and top sheet is first separated to leave the top sheet and adhesive-sided article together. The top sheet is used as an applicator for placing the article onto a target surface, such as a patient's skin. The cohesive surface of the top sheet surrounding the article does not adhere to the target surface. At the time, however, the top sheet 'pops up' from the article now adhered in place. The top sheet is then removed by breaking the bond of the adhesive strip. All of this is conveniently done with one hand. A method of making the package and a convenient assemblage of packages similar to a matchbook assemblage is also included.
