A perimeter pocket system with an inner wall having a brace connecting protuberance and an extended ceiling supporting ledge with grid tee end reference marks or coupling structure for an extension. Grid tee connector clips have cam slots for raising grid tees in a seismic event and features imparting rigidity and vibration resistance.

Building perimeter system

An improved bacon cooking system and method of use is presented which includes a container that houses a rack having a pair of sidewalls with a curved member that extends between the sidewalls. The curved member includes a plurality of vanes and a plurality of perforations. A plurality of inserts are sized and shaped to be placed over the curved member in overlapping stacked relation to one another. Bacon slices are placed over the curved member and in-between the inserts. When the system is placed in an oven or a microwave oven, the bacon is generally held in place by the curved member and the inserts thereby producing crispy, generally flat and straight bacon without the mess or inconvenience of cooking bacon conventionally in a pan.

Cooking system and method of use

A utility channel comprising a plurality of channels and accessory components, the channels having a rectangular cross section with a bottom wall and horizontally spaced parallel sidewalls extending upwardly from lateral edges of the bottom wall, opposed inturned flanges at upper edges of the sidewalls, the flanges having notches open at flange edges distal from a respective sidewall, in alignment with the notches of the opposed flange and uniformly spaced along the length of the channel, the accessory components in the channel interior space engage the flanges to maintain their assembled position in the channel interior space.

Open plenum utility channel

Clips that engage with special top flanges on elongated U-shaped acoustical baffles. One clip form suspends the baffles from grid tees in horizontal or inclined orientations or from cables or rods. Another clip form aligns to and joins intersecting baffles.

Seismic perimeter attachment clip for attaching a grid runner to wall molding comprising sheet metal base and slide elements, the base having a tab constructed and adapted to be secured with a screw to the wall molding and having a projection extending perpendicularly from the base, the slide being constructed and adapted to be attached to a grid runner, the base and slide providing a cam surface and a cam follower surface, the surfaces being mutually indexable to a home position, the cam surface being configured to raise the slide and an attached grid runner from an elevation at the home position when the slide is extended from the tab in response to longitudinal movement of the attached grid runner whereby an end of the attached grid runner is elevated above a lower flange of the wall molding as the end passes over a distal edge of the lower flange.

Seismic perimeter attachment clip

In combination, extruded aluminum trim strips joined end-to-end and a splice plate, the trim strips together, the trim strip cross-sections including a web and a pair of opposed angles, the angles and web forming a track for receiving a mid-section of the splice plate with a close sliding fit, the splice plate having lever tabs at opposite ends, notches at sides of the plate, the plate being disposed in the tracks of both lengths of trim strips, the lever tabs and associated edges of the lever tabs formed by the notches being outside of the tracks, the associated edge being arranged in a locking manner with outer surfaces of the angles as a result of the lever tabs being bent in place towards the web.

Trim strip system for use with underhung ceiling panels

A panel assembly for a suspended ceiling comprising a sheet metal body and support brackets attached to the body, the sheet metal body having a rectangular generally planar face portion, a side portion along each of four edges of the face portion, the side portions extending upwardly from the face portion edges to side portion edges, and flanges extending inwardly from the side portion edges such that the flanges overlie and are spaced from the face portion, the side portions intersecting at corners of the panel assembly and the flanges being adjacent the corners, a hanger bracket associated with each corner abutting and fixed to the flanges adjacent each corner, the hanger bracket having at least one hole for attaching a suspension wire at a location spaced from said each corner a distance substantially greater than a width of the flanges adjacent said each corner.

Ceiling panel system

A rectangular panel for a suspended ceiling, the panel having a suspension spring with two divergent arms at each of two opposed panel edges mounted on a rear side of the panel, each spring being mounted on the panel in an arrangement permitting the arms to lie parallel to a front face of a panel, project rearwardly perpendicular to the front face and to lie outside of the panel parallel to the front face, the spring mounting arrangement enabling the spring to be maintained in the rearward orientation by a force developed by the spring with its arms confined and locator elements for registering the panel with grid members of the ceiling.

A perimeter trim attachment clip formed as a single piece sheet metal stamping, the clip having a base, top and bottom rearwardly extending trim engaging grips on the base, the grips having a free edge distal from the base adapted to engage respective top and bottom hems of a perimeter trim channel, a standoff projecting rearwardly of the base beyond the grip edges, the standoff being adapted to abut the side of a grid runner extending parallel along the periphery of a free edge of a ceiling, a squaring tab connected to the base and configured to extend over the parallel extending grid runner and be attached to a reinforcing bulb of a grid runner intersecting the parallel grid runner.

A cross member for a narrow channel in a suspended ceiling grid comprising a carrier and a cover, the carrier having a web and a planar flange on a lower edge of the web, end connectors at opposite ends of the carrier web, the cover having a three-dimensional cross-section with an overall width generally equal to the width of the carrier flange and integral bendable tabs, the tabs being adjacent the ends of the cover and short in comparison to a length of the cover, the tabs being constructed to be manually folded over the flange of the carrier to lock the cover to the carrier.
