A tool storage device and a tool box. The device may include flexible walls cooperating to define a storage area, and a rigid frame supported in the storage area and including a central portion extending in a direction from a bottom wall toward a top wall, one base portion extending from one side of the central portion, along the bottom wall and toward one side wall, and another base portion extending from an opposite side of the central portion, along the bottom wall and toward an opposite side wall. The tool box may include a body defining a storage compartment; a lid defining a groove in its outer surface to support an elongated work piece; and a handle engageable with a work piece supported in the groove. The lid may be attachable to the top of the body in a closed position and to the bottom in a stowed position.

Tool storage devices

A striking tool having an improved attachment mechanism to safely and securely attach the head of the tool to the tool handle. In one configuration, the attachment mechanism has a key at the upper end of the handle that is sized and configured to be received in and engage a cooperatively configured keyway on the lower side of the head. In another configuration, the attachment mechanism has a connecting element with an elongated body that extends through a tubular body portion at an upper section of the handle and into a passageway in the head. In yet another configuration, the striking tool has both attachment mechanisms. A striking member made out of harder material can be utilized for the striking portion of the head. The connecting element can connect to an aperture in the striking member. A side nail puller can be positioned on the outer surface of the handle.

Utility bar

A utility bar includes a shank portion for providing a grip, the shank portion including a first end and a second end, a substantially arch-shaped head portion extending from the first end of the shank portion, and a pry bar portion extending from the second end of the shank portion. Each of the head portion and the pry bar portion define a free end of the utility bar. The utility bar also includes a first facet including the free end of the head portion, a second facet extending from the first facet at an angle with respect to the first facet and positioned between the free end of the head portion and the shank portion, and a first fulcrum edge between the first and second facets for providing a first pivot point about which the utility bar is pivoted to provide leverage.

Square

A nail puller mounted on the side of the head of a hammer. The nail puller may be incorporated into a metal hammer head and consist of a groove mounted substantially in line with the handle of the hammer. The nail puller consists of a V-shaped opening suitable for engaging various sizes of nail heads or shanks. The nail puller is located on the side of the hammer, such that the nail is engaged when the hammer is laid nearly parallel to the work surface. The position of the nail puller gives the user nearly 180 degrees of rotation to remove the nail.

Side nail puller

A tool comprised of two or more components each composed of differing materials with one component being less dense and the other component having working surface characteristics. The first component may be made of a titanium alloy.

Tool having an attached working surface

A striking tool having a handle with a head attached thereto. The head having a striking surface. The head being constructed of titanium or titanium based alloy so that the tool can be swung with a higher velocity than a striking tool having a heavier steel head of comparable size with no loss in effective striking force.
