The aerosol provision article includes a structure for transporting liquid from a liquid reservoir and heating the transported liquid to generate a flow of aerosol; and a region for receiving a substance which, in use, the flow of aerosol passes through and heats the substance before exiting the aerosol provision article, wherein the substance modifies a property of the flow of aerosol and wherein the structure is positioned so that when the structure heats the transported liquid to generate the flow of aerosol the structure also provides additional heat to the substance in the region.

Vapor provision apparatus including a reservoir housing defining a reservoir for liquid, a liquid transport element for transporting liquid from the reservoir to a vaporizer for vaporization and a channel for the liquid transport element, wherein the channel has a sidewall at least partly defined by a section of the reservoir housing; wherein the liquid transport element comprises a first portion arranged to deliver liquid to the vaporizer and a second portion extending along the channel, wherein the channel has a cross-section that corresponds with the cross-section of the second portion of the liquid transport element in the channel, and wherein the section of the reservoir housing that defines the sidewall of the channel has one or more openings to provide fluid communication between the liquid transport element in the channel and liquid in the reservoir.

A vapor provision system including a vapor generation chamber, a reservoir containing liquid, a vaporizer located in the vapor generation chamber and a liquid transport element arranged to transport liquid from the reservoir through an opening in a wall of the vapor generation chamber to the vaporizer, wherein the liquid transport element in the vapor generation chamber has a cross-sectional area which is greater than that of the opening, and wherein the liquid transport element in the vapor generation chamber abuts the wall surrounding the opening to help prevent leakage.

A vapor provision system includes a cartridge part configured for use with a reusable part and a sealing element, the cartridge part including a cartridge housing, a reservoir formed within the cartridge housing for containing liquid for vaporization; a vaporizer disposed within an air path forming a vaporization chamber within the cartridge housing; and a liquid transport element arranged within a channel from the reservoir to the vaporization chamber to transport liquid from the reservoir to the vaporizer for vaporization, the liquid transport element being formed with the vaporizer in the vaporization chamber to convey the vapor in use when air is drawn by a user through the air path, and the sealing element comprises a plurality of fingers projecting outwardly opposite one another from one end of a stalk.

There is described an aerosol provision article for use in an aerosol provision system for generating an inhalable medium including an aerosol when a user draws on the aerosol provision system. The aerosol provision article includes at least a first heating element and a second heating element for heating liquid from a liquid reservoir to generate a flow of aerosol; and a region for receiving a substance which, in use, the flow of aerosol passes through and heats the substance before exiting the aerosol provision article, which substance modifies a property of the flow of aerosol. The at least a first heating element and a second heating element are positioned so as to additionally heat the substance in the region.
