A lighting device () for a vehicle comprising: an array of optical fibers (), at least a portion of said array of optical fibers being arranged in at least one predetermined form (); at least one light source () for generating light to be transmitted through said array of optical fibers (); and at least one support or frame () comprising a receiving area adapted to receive said at least one predetermined form; said at least one support or frame () being adapted for use on the vehicle to provide a lighting function on the vehicle. Furthermore, a lighting device () for a vehicle comprising: a housing (); a plurality of support frames () located in said housing (); and a plurality of fiber optic light panels () received in one of said plurality of support frames (), each of said plurality of fiber optic light panels () comprising a plurality of optical fibers (); said plurality of fiber optic panels () being adapted to receive light from at least one light source () to perform at least one lighting function.

Fiber optic lighting and/or signaling system for a vehicle

A device for micro-adjustment of a lighting module has a first end including a thread to be driven into a surface of the lighting module. A second end of the device includes a micro-adjustment thread for attachment of a nut. A flange is positioned between the thread of the first end and the micro-adjustment adjustment thread of the second end. The device also includes a driving feature positioned between the flange and the micro-adjustment adjustment thread. The driving feature has an outer diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the flange.

Micro-adjustment device for lighting modules

An optical mixer for a vehicle lighting device having a light source and an optical fiber panel that inputs light from the light source. The optical mixer includes a light input face configuration to input light from the light source, and a light output face configured to output light to the input to panel. A sidewall connects the light input face to the light output face. The optical mixer is configured to provide output light from the output face having greater spatial uniformity than input light entering the input face.

Fiber optic light panel with homogeneous light output

A lighting module for a vehicle includes a light source, and a light emitting panel optically coupled to the light source and has an array of optical fibers. A light enhancing element is optically coupled to the light emitting panel such that the panel outputs light with a first cone angle to the light enhancing element. The light enhancing element is configured to narrow the first cone angle to a second cone angle smaller than the first cone angle.
