A printer credit management method is disclosed, the method includes receiving a code at a printer. From the code, a printer identifier and a credit value are discerned. It is determined if the printer identifier corresponds to a unique identifier assigned to the printer. Only upon a positive determination, a credit balance maintained by the printer is updated to include the credit value.

Printer credit management

An ink supply container includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to hold a first volume of ink and is configured to be releasably connectable to a printhead. The second portion is configured to hold a second volume of ink and is in communication with the first portion. The second portion is configured to extend over a top of at least one other ink supply container upon releasable connection of the first portion of the container to a printhead assembly.

In one embodiment, a fluid interconnection between a fluid container and a fluid ejector assembly includes: a first wick at an outlet from the container, the first wick having an upstream surface and a downstream surface; a second wick at an inlet to the ejector assembly, the second wick having an upstream surface and a downstream surface, the upstream surface in direct contact with the downstream surface of the first wick across substantially the entire area of the upstream surface of the second wick; and a filter in direct contact with the downstream surface of the second wick.

Fluid interconnection

An inkjet printhead having a substrate and having at least one ink supply slot extending through the thickness thereof and providing fluid communication between an ink supply and a plurality of ink ejection elements, wherein the ink supply slot is filled to at least part of its depth with a selectively exposed and developed resist material having a plurality of ink feed holes therethrough forming a filter.
