A two piece eraser assembly , including an eraser disk and an eraser hub for mounting and holding the eraser disk. The eraser hub includes upper and lower surfaces a flange at the peripheral edge of the hub and a stub shaft on the lower surface positioned axially with a throughbore. The eraser hub includes a plurality of spaced apertures for engaging with and detachably locking eraser disk extensions on the backside. The upper surface of the eraser disk includes a central recess and an aperture in the recess. The eraser disk includes a plurality of abrading teeth running radially from the central recess. The lower surface of the eraser disk further comprises a plurality of mounting elevations keyed for engaging with the spaced apertures or slots in the eraser hub for securely locking the eraser disk to the eraser hub.

Eraser assembly for a rotary tool

The present invention is an abrasive or abrading tool assembly comprising an abrasive or abrading tool having a housing, an air inlet port, and an exhaust outlet with a support for a wrist and forearm attached to the tool. In one embodiment including a pneumatically powered tool, the support extends toward and over the air inlet port and dust bag outlet. The abrading tool may be a rotary tool. The present invention also includes a wrist/forearm support for an abrading tool including a substantially flat body, two forks projecting from the body wherein each fork defines an orifice, and in which the orifices are positioned substantially opposite from each other, and possessing a support member that extends from the bottom of the body in the direction of the tool.

Comfort grip for an orbital abrasive hand tool

The present invention relates to rotary abrading tools of the erasure-type. The invention includes a wheel assembly comprising an annular eraser wheel having an outer crown of radially directed teeth, a central core of an elastomeric material that radially expands during operation, and a pair of discoid hubs secured on opposite axial ends of the eraser wheel. The teeth of the eraser wheel are helically arranged.

A head portion for counterbalancing a random orbital machine including a first element adapted for connection to a drive means for the machine and to an abrasive pad assembly. The drive means is rotatable about a first axis of rotation and the abrasive pad assembly is rotatable about a second axis of rotation that is parallel to the first axis of rotation and lying within a plane common with the first axis. The head portion also includes a second element detachably connected to the first element. The first and second elements are configured to at least substantially counterbalance portions of the abrasive pad assembly not disposed concentrically of the first axis of rotation and forces to which the abrasive pad assembly is exposed during use as a result of the abrasive pad assembly engaging with a work surface.
