A light system for adapting the perimeter around an open space for accepting a light fixture comprising a first member for engagement with a portion of the perimeter around the space, a second member for engagement with a portion of the perimeter around the space such that the second member is located symmetrically opposite the first member with respect to the perimeter around the space, engaging the first member and the second member to the perimeter, a pivot for removably engaging the fixture to the first and second members such that the fixture pivots from a first position where the fixture fills the open space to a second position where the fixture is hanging from the perimeter, and a latch for securing the fixture in the first position. Also, a method of installing a fixture into an aperture in a ceiling, wall or box where the aperture is defined by a perimeter, the method comprises the steps of engaging an install apparatus with the perimeter of the aperture, engaging a fixture in a hanging relationship with the install apparatus, rotating the hanging fixture until the fixture is engaged with the perimeter of the aperture, securing the fixture in a operational relationship with the perimeter of the aperture.

Fixture installation apparatus and method

The present disclosure relates to adapting a commonly used lighting fixture that is generally specified as the primary lighting source for illuminating a particular area as the apparatus for enclosing an additional UV lighting mechanism. Further, the disclosure relates to a device that can be integrated into a light fixture used with a suspended grid ceiling or a solid ceiling. Also, the present disclosure relates to a germicidal fixture used in association with a light fixture, and to an apparatus for a new germicidal light fixture and for replacing or converting an existing light fixture for efficient germicidal use.

Germicidal fixture and methods

The present invention relates generally to the field of lighting. More particularly, the present invention relates to decorative, reconfigurable or energy and maintenance efficient fluorescent light fixtures that use energy efficient lamps and ballasts, and to an apparatus for new fluorescent light fixtures and for replacing an existing fluorescent light fixture for energy efficient use. Further, the present invention relates to a system that integrates light fixtures with a suspended grid ceiling or a solid ceiling.

Fixture

A temperature responsive cooling apparatus for an air conditioner or a refrigeration system for reducing the cost of operation and maintenance without utilizing electricity, without the need of a supply of fluid that is specially pressurized and without the deposition of nonevaporative components associated with the pretreated fluid. The air conditioner or refrigeration system has an air cooled coil and means for producing a current of air for cooling the coil. The temperature responsive cooling apparatus comprises: (a) a reservoir of fluid, (b) means for transferring the fluid from the reservoir to the temperature responsive cooling apparatus, (c) a fluid control device activated by the current of air for cooling the coil (d) a temperature activated device for terminating and initiating the flow or fluid therethrough in an intermittent fashion for enhancing the operability of the compressor associated with the refrigeration system and for reducing the quantity of water required to cool the coil of the refrigeration system, (e) a fluid treatment device for affecting the nonevaporative components of the fluid prior to engaging the fluid with the coil to prevent, to inhibit or to mitigate the deposition of the nonevaporative components on the coil, (f) means for pretreating the coil with nonfouling material prior to engaging the coil with the fluid, and (g) means for disbursing the fluid to the coil.

Temperature responsive cooling apparatus

A cooling apparatus for an air conditioner or a refrigeration system for reducing the cost of operation and maintenance without utilizing electricity, without the need of a supply of fluid that is specially pressurized and without the deposition of nonevaporative components of the fluid. The air conditioner or refrigeration system has an air cooled coil and means for producing a current of air for cooling the coil. The cooling apparatus comprises: (a) a reservoir of fluid, (b) means for transferring the fluid from the reservoir to the cooling apparatus, (c) a fluid control device activated by the current of air for cooling the coil, the fluid control device directly engages the flow of and the pressure of the fluid for restricting the flow of the fluid therethrough when the current of air for cooling the coil is not operative and for permitting the flow of fluid therethrough when the current of air for cooling the coil is operative, (d) a fluid treatment device for affecting the nonevaporative components of the fluid prior to engaging the fluid with the coil to prevent, to inhibit or to mitigate the deposition of the nonevaporative components on the coil, (e) means for spraying silicone on the coils prior to engaging the coils with the fluid, and (f) means for dispersing the fluid to the coil from the fluid control device for further cooling the coil and increasing the efficiency of the air conditioner or the refrigeration system.
