Provided herein are methods for treating cancer in a patient who has been determined to have positive expression of CD200 receptor (CD200R1) and one or more biomarkers (i.e., ICOS, TIGIT, TNFRSF9, HAVCR2, PDCD1, FCGR2A, FCGR1A, CD163, and/or CD14) by administering to the patient a CD200 inhibitor. Also provided are methods for monitoring responsiveness of a patient having cancer to treatment with a CD200 inhibitor, the method comprising: determining expression levels of CD200R1 and one or more biomarkers (i.e., ICOS, TIGIT, TNFRSF9, HAVCR2, PDCD1, FCGR2A, FCGR1A, CD163, and/or CD14) in a biological sample from the patient, wherein increased expression levels of CD200R1 and the one or more biomarkers, as compared to expression levels in a biological sample of the same type obtained from the subject prior to treatment with the CD200 inhibitor, indicates that the subject is responsive to treatment with the CD200 inhibitor.

Biomarker signature for predicting tumor response to anti-CD200 therapy

A hearing system to activate an auditory system using cerebrospinal fluids includes at least one processor configured to receive an audio signal captured using a sound sensor (e.g., a microphone), extract temporal and spectral features from the audio signal, and create modulated ultrasound signals in a range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with ultrasound carrier frequencies in the range of 50 kHz to 4 MHz, which are ultrasound frequencies that are well-suited to reach the cerebrospinal fluids (e.g., can pass across the skull/bones to reach the cerebrospinal fluids). The system further includes at least one ultrasonic transducer which receives the modulated signal and delivers the modulated signal to the body and activates the auditory system via vibration of cerebrospinal fluids that vibrate cochlear fluids, bypassing the normal conductive pathway that uses middle ear bones and minimizing bone conduction and distortion through the skull.

The method includes receiving diagnostic data corresponding to the building system diagnostics configuration and processing the diagnostic data. The method includes generating a report based on the processed diagnostic data and storing or displaying the report.

Network diagnostic tool for testing and commissioning building systems

An improved spray apparatus designed to optimize the pattern of the texture material and the performance of the spray apparatus to look and perform similar to a hopper texture gun or texture spray rig used by professionals. The spray apparatus, has a housing defining a cavity. A transfer wheel is rotatably mounted to the housing, the transfer wheel having a hub defining a hub axis, and a plurality of transfer flaps. A propeller is rotatably mounted to the housing and positioned above the transfer wheel, the propeller having a spindle and a plurality of fins. A firing pin is attached to the housing above the propeller. An actuator is mounted to the housing to cause the propeller to rotate. A gate may be provided to control the flow of the material to the transfer wheel.

Spray apparatus

An improved spray apparatus designed to optimize the pattern of the texture material and the performance of the spray apparatus to look and perform similar to a hopper texture gun or texture spray rig used by professionals. The spray apparatus, has a housing defining a cavity. A transfer wheel is rotatably mounted to the housing, the transfer wheel having a hub defining a hub axis, and a plurality of transfer flaps. A propeller is rotatably mounted to the housing and positioned above the transfer wheel, the propeller having a spindle and a plurality of fins. A firing pin is attached to the housing above the propeller. An actuator is mounted to the housing to cause the propeller to rotate.

A real-time protocol for real-time network programming applications is disclosed. The protocol is executable on a computer network having a plurality of nodes that include applications, a network stack, an operating system, and middleware capable of executing real-time operations. The protocol can use group objects to model physical and logical devices connected to the network wherein each group object comprises at least one variable. Changes in these variables are encapsulated in variable change messages which are propagated in the network using communication objects. Also described is a real-time messaging format useful for implementing the protocol.

Real-time publish-subscribe system

A high volume multi-chamber barbecue and smoker apparatus is provided, including multiple smoker chambers and multiple heating chambers interconnected by a ventilation and exhaust system of pipes with manually operated valves for controlling air and smoke flow between multiple chambers as well as to the outside environment. The ventilation and exhaust system permits ventilation and drafting to the apparatus to be controlled so that a charcoal or wood fire can be more quickly and efficiently started, and then air ventilation and smoke selectively adjusted during cooking to control the amount of heat or smoke delivered to the food in various smoker and heating chambers of the multi-chamber apparatus.

Barbecue and smoker apparatus

A flash arrestor applicable to suppress explosions in gas lines generally, but specifically appropriate for suppressing explosions of pyrophoric gases, particularly silane in connection with integrated circuit manufacturing, has two identical flash suppression assemblies that are interconnected and act bidirectionally so as to suppress explosions occurring on either side of the apparatus. The positioning of a poppet relative to a poppet seat can be set manually into &ldquo;open,&rdquo; &ldquo;closed&rdquo; and &ldquo;armed&rdquo; positions, the latter indicating that the apparatus has been configured so as to intercept automatically any explosion that is transmitted to it through a gas line so as to yield a valve &ldquo;closed&rdquo; configuration, and that closed position can then be locked in manually. Sets of baffles, suppression media and shock resonating orifice plates serve not only to close the necessary valves to prevent damage to equipment to which the apparatus is connected, but also to extinguish combustion within the apparatus itself and back up the line to the source of the explosion. The valves are self-actuating under breach conditions.

Method and apparatus for pyrophoric and other type gas line explosion suppression

A control system for a surveillance vehicle (V) is disclosed. The vehicle includes a rapid deployment and retraction mechanism (A') and a jack system (B') for continuously maintaining a detection device (28) a top a mast (12) within a prescribed vertical condition when extended. The control system includes a jack leveling logic circuit (C), a jack pressure control circuit (D), a ram control circuit (E), and a mast control circuit (F). Ram control circuit (E) controls a ram (52, 54, 56) which deploys and retracts mast (12). Jack pressure control circuit (D) senses the pressure on jacks (142a, 142b, 142d) at the four corners of the vehicle. Jack leveling logic circuit (C) receives pressure signals representing the pressure on the jacks and controls extension and retraction of the jacks in pairs at diagonal corners to maintain the vehicle within prescribed leveling conditions and to prevent the over extension or over adjustment under certain unleveling conditions. Mast control circuit (F) receives a signal representing the level condition of the vehicle so that the mast is extended and retracted only under prescribed leveling conditions.

Surveillance vehicle control system

A proportional control circuit for the direction and precise speed control of D.C. electric motors such as those used to drive camera tilt/pan mountings. The circuit applies current to D.C. motors in a push/pull proportional scheme whereby slewing speed is smoothly and precisely controlled and electromotive force provides motor braking. A single current source powers the motors through an 'H' bridge switching amplifier arrangement responsive to the balance between two voltage dividers, one of which includes a controlling potentiometer that regulates both direction and speed.
