A fluid dispenser system is disclosed herein that is configured to switch between an open position in which fluid flows through a fluid channel and a closed position in which fluid is prevented from flowing through the fluid channel. The fluid dispenser system includes a valve disposed along the fluid channel and configured to move between the open valve position and the closed valve position, a trigger actuatable between an open trigger position and a closed trigger position which move the valve between the open valve position and the closed valve position, a trigger latch configured to move between a latched position in which the trigger latch fixes the trigger in the open trigger position and an unlatched position in which the trigger latch does not constrain movement of the trigger, and a solenoid with a solenoid pin. The solenoid is configured to translate the solenoid pin between an extended position capable of retaining the trigger latch in the latched position and a retracted position that allows the trigger latch to move into the unlatched position.

Fluid dispenser system

A fluid management system includes a fluid management controller and a fluid dispenser. The controller authorizes control of the one or more fluid management components over a wireless interface. A dispensing meter can be activated by an authentication device. The fluid meter includes a cartridge valve with a valve cartridge and a valve stem. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. The handheld meter dispenses through a nozzle, which includes an overmolded stem tip that generates a laminar fluid flow as the fluid exits the nozzle. The handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter to facilitate installation of the handheld fluid meter for use in an oil bar application.

Fluid management system and fluid dispenser

A waste oil transfer system includes a system controller configured to determine the authorization status of a waste oil transfer request. The system controller requests a current fluid level in a storage tank from a tank level monitor mounted on the storage tank. The tank level monitor is configured to generate current fluid level information and provide that information to the system controller. The system controller determines the available space in the storage tank and compares the available space to the transfer volume to determine if the storage tank can receive the transfer volume. The system controller then activates a pump to initiate the transfer if the system controller determines that the transfer is authorized or denies the transfer.

Waste oil pump control and tank level monitor

A handheld fluid meter includes a cartridge valve controlling the flow of fluid through the handheld meter. The cartridge valve includes a valve cartridge and a valve stem disposed within the valve cartridge. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. Dispensing meter for fluid dispensing

A fluid management system includes an authentication device and a fluid dispensing meter, and the fluid dispensing meter includes a processor and a memory. The authentication device is configured to provide data to the processor. The processor is configured to recall information from the memory, to compare the information to the data received from the authenticator, and to control a trigger control mechanism between the activated state and the deactivated state based on the comparison.

Fluid dispensing meter authorization

A handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter and to modify the functionality of buttons that control scrolling on the display. The control circuitry inverts the orientation of the visual output based on a command provided to the control circuitry by a user or by a position sensor.

A wireless metered fluid dispenser brings discrete fluid dispense events inside of a fluid management system. The wireless metered fluid dispenser allows a customer to visually confirm the fluid being dispensed and provides automatic tracking of the fluid dispense event within a wireless tracking system. A volumetric flowmeter attached to the bottom of a container or funnel tracks the amount of fluid dispensed when pouring from a container. The volumetric meter is wirelessly connected to a computer system for the transmission of data, for the purpose of centralized control and billing.

A reciprocating pump comprises a cylinder, an inlet check valve, a piston, an outlet check valve and a purge circuit. The cylinder has a first end and a second end. The inlet check valve is disposed proximate a first end of the cylinder. The piston is disposed within the cylinder between the inlet check valve and the second end. The outlet check valve is disposed within the piston. The purge circuit extends across the inlet check valve and the outlet check valve to fluidly couple the first end and the second end.

A hose reel bearing arrangement supports a rotatable swivel shaft on a stationary hose reel frame. The bearing arrangement comprises a stationary bearing race, a rotating bearing race and a bearing. The stationary bearing race is anchored to the stationary hose reel frame, and has a stationary arcuate land for bearing an axial load, a stationary cylindrical land for bearing a radial load, and a stationary frustoconical intervening portion. The rotating bearing race is anchored to the rotatable swivel shaft, and has a rotating arcuate land for bearing the axial load, a rotating cylindrical land for bearing the radial load, and a rotating frustoconical intervening portion. The bearing is bracketed axially by the stationary arcuate land and the rotating arcuate land, and radially by the stationary cylindrical land and the rotating cylindrical land.

High pressure inlet swivel for hose reel
