A TV wall mounting device includes a wall mount box with vertical supports, a display mount receiving a TV, and an extending/contracting portion between the box and the display mount. The extending/contracting portion has lower and upper arms rotatably attached to the wall mount with rear axles, a pair of linear actuators rotatably attached to the wall mount, a front portion that rises and lowers with action of the actuators, and a horizontally-swiveling portion that is raised and lowered with the front portion and is capable of rotating right-left with respect to the front portion. The display mount is attached to the horizontally-swiveling portion. Parallel operation of the linear actuators, wherein each actuator extends and retracts while keeping the same length as the other actuator, causes the display mount to go up and down. Differential operation of the actuators causes the display mount to rotate right and left.

Display mount assembly

A robotic arm assembly having an arm with at least one end effector pivotally connected to the end of the arm. The robotic arm assembly has a continuous belt driven by two motors. Manipulation of the speed and direction of the two motors controls the length of the arm and the tilt of the end effector. A third motor controls the tilt of the arm.

Hammer drills and similar devices have an ongoing dust and debris problem that is solved by a protector device covering the drill in a main body protector shielding a user from the materials. The protector device has an evacuation region on its underside with multi dimensional adapters for attaching hoses of varying sizes. Additionally, an insertable collapsible accordion cylinder assists in covering the debris falling from different size drills being used. A second embodiment has a circular saw dust protector attachment arranged as two half moons or &#xbc; moon and &#xbe; moon having a central cylinder at their respective tops that are to be held together with a mechanical latch.

Various systems, processes, and techniques may be used for converting alternating current power to direct current power for an electro-chemical reactor. In certain implementations, a system and a process may include the ability to receive an alternating current power signal, convert the alternating current signal to a direct current signal, and distribute the direct current signal to at least two power conversion modules coupled to a mounting structure. Each power conversion module may be able to convert a portion of the direct current signal to a high-frequency alternating current signal, adjust the voltage of the high-frequency alternating current signal, convert the voltage-adjusted high-frequency alternating current signal to a direct current power signal, and filter the direct current power signal. The system and the process may include the ability to combine the direct current power signals from the modules into an output direct current power signal for an electro-chemical reactor.

A circuit for controlling an electro-explosive device. The circuit includes a heating element, an input circuit and a load control circuit. The load control circuit is responsive to an electrical input provided by the input circuit for energizing the heating element. The heating element selectively causes ignition of the electro-explosive device when its level of energization reaches a firing level. The load control circuit substantially limits current in the heating element when the electrical input is less than a predetermined threshold for maintaining energization of the heating element at a level less than the firing level to prevent the ignition of the electro-explosive device. In contrast, the load control circuit applies substantially all of the electrical input to the heating element when the electrical input signal is greater than the predetermined threshold. This maintains energization of the heating element at a level greater than the firing level to cause the ignition of the electro-explosive device.

Pyrotechnic bridgewire circuit

A system and method for controlling data transmissions between a remote node and a local node of a computer communications network. The network has a plurality of nodes that are interconnected for the exchange of datagrams defining a plurality of virtual circuits. A plurality of physical data links connected to the local node are used to connect the local node to the network and an interface establishes a connection from the local node to the remote node via a first one of the links. The interface assigns one of the virtual circuits to the first link and assigns another one of the virtual circuits to a second one of the links. The local node receives the remote-to-local datagrams of the assigned virtual circuits via their respective links whereby the collective throughput requirement of the plurality of datagrams is distributed among the plurality of links thereby increasing the speed of data transmission between the remote node and the local node. Other features are also disclosed including correcting checksums in the datagrams.

A method and device for displaying time using a single segment member where the length and position of the segment member reflects the time. The device generally comprises a timer circuit to set and maintain hours and minutes of time, and a segment member control circuit which is responsive to the timer circuit and adjusts the length and position of the segment member to reflect the time maintained by the timer circuit.

A method and device for determining and securely transmitting an account code of a financial card over a communications link in a communications network to a remote location which also allows a telephone to be used concurrently to perform voice communications over the same communications link with the remote location. The device generally comprises a control circuit for controlling the operation of the device, a transmitter for transmitting data to the remote location, a receiver for receiving information from the remote location, and a power supply for supplying power to the device. The device also comprises a reader circuit for determining the account code of the financial card. In the preferred embodiment, the device also comprises an entering circuit, such as a keypad, for entering a secret PIN code portion of the account code. Also, a method is disclosed for securely transmitting the secret PIN code portion and/or a detectable code portion of the account code over the communications circuit, preferably by a unique encryption process. Moreover, in the preferred embodiment, the power supply connects to the telephone line and supplies power to the device solely by the power received from the telephone line, without interfering with the operation of the telephone line.

Financial transmission system

An external catheter assembly includes a thin elastomeric membrane attachable to the body of a user and provided with a frustoconical projection feathered in wall thickness towards the opening therein. A first, double-backed adhesive strip is attachable to the membrane around the projection to adhesively engage the open end of an elastomeric sleeve and a second adhesive strip conformed to engage the sleeve, the first strip, and the membrane. The other end of the sleeve extends to a flexible collection container which may include a check valve opposing backflow therefrom.
