The invention relates to an industrial fabric, such as a texturing belt, used to create three-dimensional structures in a product produced thereon, e.g., in the papermaking field, such as for fiber products, and in nonwoven processes. The invention concerns a texturing belt that can impart an endless variety of complex patterns utilizing discretization, such as, wherein individual subunits that comprise a pattern element are not connected, and therefore do not act as a stressed member of the texturing belt.

Discretized patterned belt for tissues, towels, and nonwovens

Disclosed is an industrial belt that can be used in, for example, conveying or forming engineered wood composites or other industrial products. The industrial belt has a seamable base belt with a coating that includes a polymer, an anti-contaminant, and a conductive anti-static component.

A belt designed for lead acid battery plate pasting that is rendered dimensionally stable and incompressible and is also rendered hydrophobic to allow water handling without absorption and subsequent contamination of lead oxide into the structure.

A fabric having one or more guides attached to a wear surface of the fabric so to encapsulate fifty percent or more of the fabric caliper. Advantageously, the encapsulation of the fabric by the guide, and not the chemical affinity of the materials, is the mechanism that attaches the guide and fabric. Consequently, the bond strength is equal to the tear strength of either the fabric or guide material alone.

In combination with a high-speed spun-bond apparatus, rather than using a circulating sieve belt for collecting the stretched filaments and forming the web, a fabric having a 4-shed double layer with support shute weave design is used. This fabric is commonly referred to as a 4B weave and 4B weave with stuffer in center. In general, the fabric has a permeability ranging from 400 to 800 cfm with a woven or pin seam where the seam permeability and caliper varies only slightly with respect to the rest of the fabric.

A two-layer drum cover and a method of producing the same are provided. The two-layer drum cover includes a backing wire constructed of a relatively high grade metal alloy in the warp direction and alternating relatively low grade metal alloys in the shute direction. The two-layer drum cover also includes a face wire constructed of a relatively high grade metal alloy in the warp direction and alternating relatively low grade metal alloys in the shute direction. All the metal alloys used in the face wire have a higher grade than the metal alloys used in the backing wire.

An industrial fabric used in the form of an endless fabric belt to form and convey a nonwoven fiber web during the manufacture of a nonwoven fabric has a web-supporting surface which includes rough-surface yarns which inhibit movement, namely, slippage, of the nonwoven fiber web relative to the web-supporting surface. Preferably, the rough-surface yarns make long floats in one or both directions, that is, lengthwise and/or crosswise, on the web-supporting surface.

Nonwovens forming or conveying fabrics with enhanced surface roughness and texture

A belt suitable in a brownstock washer machine and a method of producing the same are provide. The belt is produced from a high-density multi-layer woven fabric, which is preferably made using an eight-shed weave pattern. The fabric provides high fiber support via a high warp-density/long-warp-float while achieving high drainage/resistance-to-sealing through increased void volume.
