The invention provides a pump comprising a pump inlet, a pump outlet, at least two threaded rotors and a pressure controlled valve, the pressure controlled valve being capable of controlling re-circulation of fluid from the pump outlet to the pump inlet. The pressure controlled valve can be a control valve. The invention also provides a multiple stage pump assembly comprising at least two pumps arranged in series, wherein at least one of the pumps is the aforementioned pump.

Multi-stage pump assembly having a pressure controlled valve for controlling recirculation of fluid from the pump stage outlet to the pump stage inlet

Pump having a pump inlet, a pump outlet, at least two threaded rotors and a pressure controlled valve. The pressure controlled valve is capable of controlling re-circulation of fluid from the pump outlet to the pump inlet. The pressure controlled valve can be a control valve. A multiple stage pump assembly is also provided having least two pumps arranged in series, in which at least one of the pumps is the aforementioned pump.

Multistage pump comprising a plurality of components which include a plurality of pre-assembled pump modules, having at least one twin screw pump module. The multistage pump further has an elongate sleeve for housing the components, and a securing device attachable or engagable with a portion of the elongate sleeve. The securing device is operable to fixedly retain the components within the sleeve. Each of the pre-assembled pump modules has at least one thrust bearing.

A motor assembly comprising a motor unit having a first end and a second end and being couplable adjacent the first end of the motor unit to an external electrical device, the motor unit comprising at least one motor winding extending between the first and second ends and an electrical return path extending from the second end to the first end, the electrical return path being in electrical contact at the first end with an electrical connector for supplying impressed secondary power to the external electrical device, wherein the first end of the motor unit is provided with means for coupling a power source to the motor winding and the second end of the motor unit is provided with means to electrically couple the motor winding to the electrical return path. Also provided is a motor comprising a motor winding having a first end and a second end and an incomplete number of winding turns between the first and second ends, and an electrical return path for passing a current through the motor, the motor winding and the electrical return path being discontinuous.

Motor assembly

Load bearing assembly for suspending a load from a wellhead assembly, having a connector for suspending jointed production tubing therefrom and a fluid-to-air connector seals around an electrical conductor extending therethrough. The assembly has a jointed production tubing section with a first connector for connecting the tubing to the wellhead assembly connector. The assembly has a second connector for connecting the jointed production tubing section to a load bearing part of an electrical conduction section of the assembly. The load bearing part suspends the weight of the electrical conduction section and a load in a well from the second connector. The electrical conduction section includes an electrical conductor part for supplying electrical power to the load. The electrical conductor part is connected to an electrical cable which extends outside and along the jointed production tubing section away from the second connector and towards the well head in use.
