The invention disclosed provides a hinge capable of a vertical and overlay adjustment, comprised of a recessed hinge cup and a hinge arm connected to an attachment plate and an abutment plate which are further connected by a deformable hinge section. An overlay adjustment is provided by bending the deformable hinge section through use of an overlay adjustment screw fitted between the attachment plate and the abutment plate. The novel hinge provided is also adjustable vertically via an adjustment screw accessed by a portal in the attachment plate. The design is less complicated and therefore is lighter and less expensive than previous overlay adjustable hinges and allows delicate and semi-permanent adjustments to be made by a single installer.

Adjustable hinge

A detachable and adjustable damper hinge attachment for connection to pre-installed hinge hardware to dampen the closing motion of a swinging cabinet door. The attachment comprises a housing and a spring damper assembly slidingly and removably engaged with the housing. The housing includes an attachment means for detachable engagement with a hinge body. The spring damper assembly extends from the housing and contacts a portion of the hinge to which the door is mounted. One embodiment positions the spring damper assembly to more perpendicularly meet the door portion of the hinge. Another embodiment includes an adjustment knob for adapting the contact point of the spring damper assembly.

A full extension ball bearing drawer slide assembly comprised of a fixed member attached to a cabinet piece, a middle member slidingly engaged with the fixed member with a set of linear bearings, a drawer member attached to a drawer piece slidingly engaged with the middle member via a second set of linear bearings, and a drawer retainer mechanism attached to the drawer member and in adjustable contact with the drawer member. The drawer retainer mechanism is comprised of a frame attached to the drawer member, a housing seated in the frame, a piston fitted in the frame and biased by a helical spring adjacent a post. The post has a threaded section engaged with a threaded hole in the frame. The piston, biased by the helical spring on the post, is forced towards the housing by a raised indention in a race of the fixed member.

Durable drawer retainer apparatus and method of use

A pair of transition escutcheons are provided to unobtrusively cover old mounting holes and provide a method of actually locating the placement of new mounting hole for cabinetry hardware. Each transition escutcheon is comprised of a generally flat body, having a projection extending from a bottom, a platform separated from a border by an annular indention, and a hole passing through the escutcheon located a set distance from the projection. The escutcheons are inserted into the old mounting holes and rotated until the holes are horizontally agreed. New mounting holes are drilled or locations further marked through the holes in the escutcheons. Once the new holes are drilled, the new hardware is mounted on the escutcheons with the and covering the old mounting holes.

Transition escutcheon and method of use

A linear bearing drawer slide assembly comprised of a spring damper mechanism attached to a fixed member slidingly engaged with a middle member slidingly engaged with a drawer member. The spring damper mechanism is comprised of a base connected to a guide track which includes a longitudinal channel and a pair of opposing catches. A carriage slidingly engages the guide track. A pivotal latch pivots on a column of the carriage and further includes a pair of posts that extend through the carriage to engage the pair of catches in the guide track. The base and the carriage secure a pair of springs providing a balanced closing force against a damper which reduces unwanted wear and prolongs the useable life of the drawer slide assembly.

The invention disclosed provides a rotary coupling mechanism that securely attaches common household fixtures to a wall. The invention is comprised of a wall bracket, a base bracket, a cam pin, and two mounting screws. Flanges on the base bracket rotationally engage flanges on the wall bracket and the cam pin inserted through the base bracket rotates to hold the flanges and secure the base bracket to the wall bracket. An alternate embodiment of the invention is comprised of a wall bracket and a base bracket having flanges with canted surfaces. A locking pin holds the brackets together after the flanges are rotationally engaged. For each application of the coupling mechanism, a decorative body conceals the apparatus. The decorative body is rigidly connected or pivotally connected to a decorative cap. The decorative cap retains various household fixtures such as paper holders, towel racks, or shelves.

The invention disclosed provides a compact hinge capable of a vertical, a horizontal, and an overlay adjustment, comprised of a cup portion and a hinge arm with one end pivotably connected to the cup portion and the other end slideably connected to a fastener plate. The fastener plate further comprises a first semi-planar surface for contact with a cabinet frame and a second semi-planar surface for slideable engagement with the hinge arm to accomplish the horizontal adjustment. The first and second semi-planar surfaces are interconnected by a deformable hinge section that allows for an elastically resilient connection at one end and an adjusting screw at the other end for a horizontally arcing movement relative to each resulting in an overlay adjustment. The fastener plate further comprises an elongated aperture in the first semi-planar surface through which the vertical adjustment is accomplished.

A self-closing drawer slide assembly for installation between a drawer and the interior of a cabinet is disclosed in conjunction with a compatible mounting socket for mounting the rear of the cabinet member to the rear wall of the cabinet. The socket telescopically accepts the declining rear portion of the cabinet member and is telescopically adjustable to suit a range of variations in the length of the drawer slide or the length of the cabinet. The socket also has a range of lateral adjustment which is transferable into lateral adjustment for the drawer slides assembly once installed.
