A mechanical machine can include one or more kinematic linkages having kinematic joints that movably couple first and second rigid links and can include an automatic lubrication system to lubricate the kinematic joints. In an aspect, the automatic lubrication system is configured to monitor operational aspects of the machine such as machine operational data and geometric position and to dynamically determine timing and/or quantity of lubricant to direct and introduce to the kinematic joints.

A bucket for a machine includes a pair of spaced apart side sections that define a width of the bucket and a hinge plate assembly positioned between the pair of side sections. The hinge plate assembly includes a pair of spaced apart hinge plates, with each of the hinge plates including a front boss and a rear boss, a base plate having a first thickness, and an upper wrapper plate having a second thickness that is less than the first thickness. A wrapper has a third thickness that is less than the second thickness and a lip plate includes a lower cutting edge. A receptacle is defined by the pair of side sections, the base plate, the upper wrapper plate, the wrapper, and the lip plate.

An equalizer bar for a tracked vehicle is connected to the track roller frames via an arrangement comprising a pin which is swivel ably mounted to the equalizer bar and held rigidly by the track roller frame. The pin is positively held by the track roller frame, for example by channels in which the pin sits such that the side load is at least partially absorbed by the channel walls rather than the fasteners. The fasteners are located such that they experience minimal side load and aid a positive location of the pin in the channels.
