One embodiment provides a method, including: obtaining EEG data from one or more single channel EEG sensor worn by a user; classifying, using a processor, the EEG data as one of nominal and abnormal; and providing an indication associated with a classification of the EEG data. EEG recording and analysis

Provided herein are systems, kits, and methods for monitoring brain activity. In some implementations, a system includes a plurality of wearable sensors having a housing with an extended, rounded shape are removably attached to the scalp of a patient and monitor electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Approaches for instructing a user to position and active that wearable sensors are disclosed. Approaches for facilitating collection, synchronization, and processing of EEG signals are disclosed. Approaches for handing off control of the wearable sensors between portable computing devices are disclosed.

Systems and methods for electroencephalogram monitoring

Disclosed systems, methods, and products include a self-contained electroencephalogram (EEG) recording patch including a first electrode, a second electrode and where the first and second electrodes cooperate to measure a skin-electrode signal, a substrate containing circuitry for generating an EEG signal there-from, amplifying the EEG signal, digitizing the EEG signal, and retrievably storing the EGG signal in a programmatic fashion. The patch also comprises a power source and an enclosure that houses the substrate, the power source, and the first and second electrodes in a unitary package.

Self-contained EEG recording system

Disclosed systems include a self-contained electroencephalogram (EEG) recording patch comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and wherein the first and second electrodes cooperate to measure a skin-electrode impedance, a substrate containing circuitry for generating an EEG signal from the measured skin-electrode impedance, amplifying the EEG signal, digitizing the EEG signal, and retrievably storing the EGG signal. Provided herein are embodiments of a miniature wireless biomedical telemetry device along with systems and methods for its use. A miniature amplifier and transmitter allow recording of physiological signals from small animals, such as rats, mice and birds, as well as humans. The device is positioned externally and is easily replaceable, as is its battery, so surgical complications and other problem problems are minimized.

Miniature wireless biomedical telemetry device

A device ( ) for treating eye movement disorders is described. The device is wearable, and utilizes servo controlled prisms to treat disorders of ocular mobility in non-invasive and non-pharmacologic manner. Probe ( ) comprises an eye movement sensor. The device ( ) oscillates the image of the world as perceived by a patient in lock step with pathological nystagmus to negate its deleterious effects. Furthermore, the subject treatment device negates only abnormal eye movement. Voluntary, and normal reflex eye movements required for normal vision do not affect operation of the device. In addition to acquired pendular nystagmus (APN), the device is potentially usable to treat non-sinusoidal ocular oscillations (e.g., jerk nystagmus), strabismus, vestibular insufficiency, and other ocular mobility disorders. A corresponding method for treating APN and other eye movement disorders is also described.
