Dog training device

The present disclosure introduces a dog training device, an electronic communication system for dog training, and various other interoperable methods, features, and components. The dog training device may allow dogs or other animals to activate a button, initiating communication with a user's computerized device through a wireless transmission system. Upon activation, the training device may send a signal to the computerized device, enabling remote authorization for an automated door system to open. A video monitor may facilitate real-time interaction between the user and their pet. An integrated smart home system may further enhance convenience and control. This comprehensive solution offers seamless training, monitoring, and interaction, fostering a stronger bond between pet and owner.

Methods of forming mold cavities suitable for hook and loop fastening are disclosed, along with effective hook construction and hook and loop fastener products that have an ultrathin cross-section. Photochemical techniques are employed to form plates that define hook-form mold cavities, and, alternatively, chemical etching is employed following preforming of the cavities and machining. Hooks having three-dimensional tapers with enhanced loop engaging characteristics are disclosed. By utilization of special surface finishes and tolerances, hook fasteners, having ultrathin cross-sections are realized, that pave the way for practical use of touch fasteners in a wide range of new areas.

Molding of fastening hooks and other devices

A hook fastener member having rows of molded hook-shaped fastener elements that lie in planes aligned with the rows, with generally planar plate portions at the outermost ends of at least some of the fastener elements, the plate portions lying generally parallel to the base of the fastener member. The plate portions can enhance engagement of the hook fastener members with mating loop fastener members, particularly with low loft non-woven loop fastener members. A method of making fastener members is provided. Molten resin is extruded and applied to a molding roller, creating preforms. The outermost portions of at least some of the preforms are flattened, thereby forming generally plate shaped portions. Disposable absorbent garments advantageously incorporate the hook fastener members.

Hook fasteners and methods of manufacture

A method of manufacturing plates assembleable in a stack to provide a mold to form fastener elements includes applying a photoresist material to at least one side of the plate. The photoresist material is exposed to light. Portions of the photoresist material are removed based on the light exposure. Acid is applied to the plate, dissolving portions of the plate exposed to the acid and creating cavities.
