Systems and methods of access control in security systems with augmented reality are provided. Some methods can include receiving an image of an exterior of a secured area, displaying the received image on a display device, identifying at least one artifact associated with the received image, and superimposing at least one computer generated image of the identified artifact on the displayed image, thereby augmenting the displayed image.

Systems and methods of access control in security systems with augmented reality

A communications bus line isolator is provided. In some embodiments, a first side of the communications bus isolator can be coupled to a first device via first communications bus cabling, a second side of the communications bus isolator can be coupled to a second device via second communications bus cabling, and, when the communications bus isolator detects a fault on or tampering or interference with the second communications bus cabling or the second device, the communications bus isolator can isolate the first communications bus cabling from the second communications bus cabling. In some embodiments, when the first device detects a continuous fault on or continuous tampering or interference with the second communications bus cabling or the second device, the first device can transmit a signal to the communications bus isolator, instructing the communications bus isolator to actively disable receivers on the second side of the communications bus isolator.

Communications bus line isolator

A support rack for a substantially planar circuit board includes first and second spaced apart sides. The sides define a plurality of spaced apart product receiving support surfaces where corresponding surfaces on each side are parallel to one another and spaced apart by a central region to form a U-shaped rack. Between pairs of support surfaces on a selected side are truncated, trapezoidal-like protrusions which terminate in product retaining clips. Integrally formed braces can be provided to increase rack strength.

Card rack system

A monitoring system includes a plurality of sites being monitored for predetermined events. One or more sensor at each site detect at least one predetermined event in a specified area. One or more communications modules at each site communicate with the sensor and transmit an alert signal of the event using a communications system. The communications module(s) communicates with the sensor, and the communications module transmits the alert signal of the event using a communications system. A remotely located computer system communicates with the communications module using the communications system. The computer system logically divides and presents on a display data about the sites being monitored. The computer system controls the communications between the communications module and the computer system for receiving transmissions from, and sending transmissions to, the communications module. The computer system communicates an alarm signal after receiving the alert signal.

Inexpensive mass market alarm system with alarm monitoring and reporting

A security system including one or more sensors for detecting a predetermined security event. One or more communications modules include a transmitting device for communicating with the sensor and transmitting an alert signal of the security event. A remotely located computer system controls the communications between the transmitting device of the communication module for receiving a signal from and transmitting to the communications module. After receiving the alert signal, the computer system communicates an alarm signal.

Server based distributed security system

A system and method for performing a walk test for an alarm system having an alarm panel and at least one zone, each zone having at least one sensor, having steps of placing the alarm panel in an engineering mode, establishing a communications channel between the alarm panel and a communication device and remotely placing the alarm panel in an appropriate state for each walk test, selecting a zone, triggering an alarm for each sensor in the selected zone, and using the communications channel to report the triggered alarm to the communication device, and remotely placing the alarm panel in an appropriate state for the next walk test after triggering all of the sensors in the zone. The system and method can also include user input to the alarm panel to indicate the desired communications channel.
