A soap dispensing assembly includes a soap container and a universal dispenser. The soap container is capable of having a liquid pump or a foaming pump attached to it. The universal dispenser is adapted to house and dispense soap from the soap container regardless of whether the container has a liquid pump or a foaming pump. Using this assembly, a manufacturer may sell the universal dispenser and offer to sell the consumer liquid and foamable soap for use with the same dispenser.

A pump head assembly for a soap container. The pump head including a drip guard member which applies a vacuum to an internal passageway of the pump head assembly following dispensing of soap in order to draw an residual soap out of the internal passageway and thus prevent dripping.

A printer for printing indicia upon media with print head and platen assemblies with ease of exchange and re-alignment features. The print head may be coupled to a print head bracket, the print head bracket removably coupled to the top cover of the printer by, for example, guide tabs of a print head support structure which mate with guide slots of the print head bracket. The print head bracket having alignment forks for aligning the print head with the platen. The printer also includes a platen bracket for maintaining the platen in the printer. The platen bracket being easy to remove to replace the platen.
