Dose values are displayed. The dose values display the take-up of radiation by an examination volume to be expected during an irradiation. An examination volume is segmented in an image, and the dose values are assigned to areas of the surface of the examination volume. The surface of the examination volume is displayed as a plane such that the areas displayed as flat will be graphically encoded by the dose values assigned to the respective areas.

Display of dose values for planning an irradiation

A method and an apparatus for planning a treatment beam aimed at at least one target region are provided. Planning parameters having associated predetermined parameter values are for performing a treatment that is to be applied with the treatment beam. The method includes defining a first predetermined parameter value of the planning parameters that is suitable for the irradiation of a treatment region that includes at least one target region. The method also includes ascertaining, based on the first predetermined parameter value, a first probability distribution in relation to an optimizable variable that is prespecified based on deviations to be expected when carrying out the irradiation.

Planning a treatment beam aimed at one or more target regions

A method and a device for regulating a therapeutic beam directed at an object are provided. The method includes displaying at least one multidimensional image data record encompassing at least one target area of the object. The method also includes determining the treatment beam dosage directed at the at least one target area, and recording and optionally visualizing an isoline or isosurface dependent on the treatment beam dosage in the at least one multidimensional image data record. The method includes adjusting the isoline or isosurface such that the isoline or isosurface approximates a contour of the target area as closely as possible or corresponds to the contour, and regulating the treatment beam dosage by evaluation of the adjusted isoline or isosurface.

Device and method for radiation dosimetry

The present embodiments relate to a method for registering medical image data. The method includes providing a registration parameter set for each of a plurality of different application cases, each of the plurality of different application cases being defined by at least one feature. Each registration parameter set contains registration parameters predefined for the associated application case. The method also includes providing first image data and second image data, which are to be registered onto one another. In response to the specification of an application case for the first image data and the second image data to be registered, a registration parameter set is automatically selected from the provided registration parameter sets in accordance with the specified application case. The method includes automatically performing a registration of the first image data onto the second image data using the selected registration parameter set.
