A multiwall bag having a slider zipper and fin combination and methods of forming same are provided. The multiwall bag, for example, can include a tube body. A bag seal zone can be formed in the tube body, and a combination fin member, zipper track, and zipper block can be connected to an end of the tube body in the bag seal zone. The other end of the tube body can be filled with product so that the bag seal zone operates as a constructive bottom during filling. Then, the end of the tube body through which product is filled can be closed and sealed to provide a bag filled with product. The method can include forming a tube body, sealing inner surfaces of the tube body to define a bag seal zone, and connecting a combination fin member, zipper track, and zipper block to the bag seal zone.

An open-ended handle is disclosed for use with framed saws, such as coping saws. The open-ended handle is generally J-shaped and has a grip member that is perpendicular to the saw blade. The open-ended handle is mounted to the saw such that the grip member is also symmetrical about the mounting point. The present invention provides an arrangement in which the hand-grip portion of the handle is symmetrical about a longitudinal axis of motion when the saw is in use to allow the greatest amount of power to be transferred to the saw blade along a single line of force which not only provides for accurate cutting, but also eases tension on the user's hand and wrist to reduce fatigue. This arrangement provides a saw that is equally balanced and usable in both an upright position and an inverted position for accurate and easy cutting in a downward direction as well as an upward direction. While holding a piece of work in one hand and the saw in another, a user can easily cut the work downward, flip the saw in a single motion to an inverted position, and finish the cut in an upward direction.

The present invention provides a symmetric, D-shaped handle for use with coping and similar saws which are generally comprised of a saw blade attached to a U-shaped frame having first and second shanks. The handle is comprised of a perpendicular cross-member mounted between the two shanks of a C-shaped member. The cross-member, which is used for gripping, is maintained substantially perpendicular to the saw blade while the planes of the saw frame shanks remain substantially parallel to the cross-member. At the center point of the C-shaped member is an aperture to allow the D-shaped handle to slide onto the threaded shaft of a standard blade holder. A standard fastener such as a wing nut may then be threadingly engaged with the shaft to attach and tighten the handle onto the shaft and simultaneously tension and align the saw blade between the shanks of the saw frame. In another embodiment, the aperture is slot-shaped to allow the handle to be pivoted into a pistol grip position when the operator desires to make continuous cuts in only one direction. In still yet another embodiment, the aperture in the D-shaped member is shaped and formed to be coupled with a protrusion on the shaft of a standard blade holder of a coping saw, thus preventing the handle from rotating about the shaft of the blade holder during use.
