A surgical robotics system with robotic arms is configurable to perform a variety of surgical procedures. The surgical robotics system can include a table, column, base, and robotic arms that are either column-mounted, rail-mounted, or mounted on a separate unit. In a column-mounted configuration, the column can include column rings that translate vertically and rotate about the column. The robotic arms are attached to the column rings. In a rail-mounted configuration, the base can include base rails that translate along the base. The robotic arms are attached to the base rails. In both configurations, the robotic arms can move independently from each other and include multiple arm segments. Each arm segment can provide an additional degree of freedom to the robotic arm. Thus, the surgical robotics system may position the robotic arms into numerous configurations to access different parts of a patient's body.

A method of operating a glucose test meter is provided. The method can be achieved by storing a plurality of glucose readings to a first memory of the test meter, each of the glucose readings having a time stamp and an order index, the time stamp comprising a date and a time when the glucose reading was performed, the order index indicating an order in which the plurality of glucose readings was saved to the first memory; determining whether successively saved glucose readings have time stamps in chronological order consistent with the order index; and indicating that the date and the time setting in the test meter is incorrect if there are successively saved glucose readings having time stamps inconsistent with the order index.

In fittings designed to connect threadless electrical conduits, the improvement of providing raintight fittings, having a hollow cylindrical housing with a bore adapted to receive an end of a conduit to be connected with such a fitting and a compression ring with a solid ring portion assembled on the conduit along with a seal, with the solid ring portion of the compression ring providing a radial surface for advancing the seal along the conduit and to compress the seal radially against the conduit to effect a raintight seal between the housing and such conduit and a compression means which is forced against such conduit by a nut system to lock such conduit in the fitting when the radial face of the compression ring abuts against the housing after compressing the elastomer seal against such conduit.

In a three piece coupling which has bushing with internal and external threads for assembly on a threaded end of a conduit by its internal threads, a sleeve adapted to fit over a second conduit to be joined by the coupling with internal threads operable to engage the external threads of the bushing to advance the sleeve on the bushing when it is rotated and a collar sized to fit within the sleeve without restricting its rotation, the collar having internal threads for assembly on a threaded end of the second conduit to be connected with the coupling and retained in the sleeve so that the collar is advanced with the sleeve, the improvement including a first seal operable to effect a water tight seal between the bushing and the sleeve and a second seal operable to effect a second water tight seal between the sleeve and a conduit connected to the collar by mechanical compression whereby the coupling joins the conduit components in a water tight joint without rotating the components and without losing conductivity through the coupling.
