A speech processing system for the generation of speaker specific text output. To automatically generate a transcript of a trial, hearing, or. meeting, the system uses microphones dedicated to specific speakers along with one or more computers with speech recognition software assigned to each microphone. The system tracks the occurrences of speech and assembles a transcript of the participant's spoken words including the speaker's identity and a text version of the spoken words in the order the words were spoken.

An electrolysis system comprises one or more patches that are secured to a skin surface. Electric current generated by an electrolysis machine directs electric current between the one or more patches and the underlying skin area. This electric current is effective to be transmitted along hair follicles underlying the patches so as to perform an electrolysis operation on the underlying hair. After a selected time period of decomposition, the hairs underlying the patch can be easily removed from the patient's skin.

The present invention relates to a microcurrent electrotherapy device that is pre-programmed to produce a series of different microcurrent waveform signals that are directed to a selected treatment area of a human or animal. More particularly, the electrotherapy device is pre-programmed to produce a sequence of different pulsed and continuous direct microcurrent waveforms. In one programmed mode, the programmed electrotherapy device produces a pulsed direct current waveform of approximately 10 .mu.A to 100 .mu.A which is followed by a second treatment phase of a direct microcurrent of approximately 300 .mu.A to 1000 .mu.A which is followed by a third treatment phase of pulsed direct microcurrent of approximately 50 to 250 .mu.A.

Method and apparatus for administering microcurrent electrotherapy

A method for treating pressure sores, decubitus ulcers, or other soft tissue wounds involves the application of a pulsed DC current to the patient's body to stimulate healing of the soft tissue wound. In accordance with the present invention, a pair of electrodes are applied to the patient's body outside the area of the sore, but closely adjacent the outer edges of the sore. The electrodes are placed on opposite sides of the sore and a current is applied to the patient's skin through the electrodes so that the current path is across the sore. The current is applied for a short duration and the probes are repositioned. The process is repeated as many times as necessary to direct current across the entire surface area of the wound. Unlike prior art methods of electrotherapy, the method of the present invention takes only a few minutes to treat each sore.
