A cryogenic submerged multi-stage pump assembly includes a vertically oriented pump shaft. A permanent magnet electrical motor includes a rotor attached to the pump shaft and a stator disposed about the rotor. A first-stage impeller assembly includes a first impeller attached to the pump shaft, the first impeller configured to move a cryogenic fluid from a first impeller inlet to a first impeller outlet when the pump shaft is rotated by the electric motor. A second-stage impeller assembly includes a second impeller attached to the pump shaft, the second impeller configured to move the cryogenic fluid from a first impeller housing to a second impeller inlet and then to a second impeller outlet when the pump shaft is rotated by the electric motor. The first and a second impeller housing are disposed about the first and second impellers and configured to channel the cryogenic fluid.

Cryogenic submerged pump for LNG, light hydrocarbon and other electrically non-conducting and non-corrosive fluids

There is disclosed a high pressure dispensing nozzle for providing cryogenic fuel such as liquid natural gas (LNG) from a source to a filling receptacle, such as on a vehicle. The nozzle has a gun-style nozzle construction and a plurality of jaw members provided near a distal end for locking engagement with the filling receptacle. The nozzle further has a movable internal poppet to establish a fuel passageway through the nozzle for delivery of fuel therethrough. Two different triggers enable separate steps of locking of the nozzle onto the filling receptacle and initiating gas flow for ease of use. The two steps may also me combined and actuated by a single trigger. One nozzle disclosed includes a safety button for dispersing residual gas in the nozzle prior to disengagement to help avoid injury to the user.

A cryogenic electrical power feed-through assembly includes a contact header assembly. The contact header assembly includes a feed-through body forming a feed-through body cavity disposed therethrough extending between a first opening end to a second opening end. A first contactor plate assembly is disposed at and hermetically seals the first opening end of the feed-through body with a first electron beam weld formed between the first contactor plate and the first opening end. A second contactor plate assembly is disposed at and hermetically seals the second opening end of the feed-through body with a second electron beam weld formed between the second contactor plate and the second opening end. Each contactor plate assembly includes a contactor plate, a plurality of insulative bushings hermetically sealed to and extending through the contactor plate, and a plurality of contact pins hermetically sealed to and extending through the plurality of insulative bushings.
