Alternatively, the predetermined amount of dental agent may be packaged in a separate container located adjacent to the trough orifice so that the dental agent is capable of being directly expelled into the trough of dental appliance when the seal is opened. The packaging may also contain multiple dental appliances with predispensed dental agent with which a desiccant may be included. The dental agent may also be sealed in a separate dispenser, preferably a syringe.
