A dental irrigation device for heating a solution and mixing solutes within the solution. The present invention utilizes an oscillator and inductive coil to heat and/or mix the solution. A pump then delivers the heated and mixed pressurized solution from a basin ultimately into a dispenser.

Dental irrigation device

A beverage mixing system/method allowing faster mixing/blending of frozen beverages is disclosed. The system/method in various embodiments utilizes inductive coupling to introduce heat into the frozen beverage during the mixing/blending process via a rotating driveshaft and attached mechanical agitator to speed the mixing/blending process. Exemplary embodiments may be configured to magnetically induce heat into the driveshaft and/or mechanical agitator mixing blade to affect this mixing/blending performance improvement. This heating effect may be augmented via the use of high power LED arrays aimed into the frozen slurry to provide additional heat input. The system/method may be applied with particular advantage to the mixing of ice cream type beverages and other viscous beverage products.

Beverage mixing system and method

A clothes dryer apparatus and system that reduces the buildup of electric charges within a dryer drum by introducing ions. The system monitors the voltage within the drum by taking measurements on voltage sensor assembly. The sensor assembly obtains a voltage when two areas of a fabric, or two separate items of the clothing, contact the sensor. If a threshold voltage is obtained, an ion generator introduces cations and anions into the drum of the dryer to neutralize the static charge of the clothing. The reduction of static electricity increases efficiency as the clothing items do not stick together which permits better heat flow and increases safety by reducing the amount of electrical charge within the drum.

Clothes dryer fire reduction system

A system having a beverage coaster with a receiving coil that can be magnetically coupled or decoupled from a driving coil in a counter, table, bar, and the like. The coaster may be magnetically coupled to the table by moving the coaster into an area where the driving coil generates a magnetic field of sufficient strength. The coaster also includes a switch that activated or deactivated based on its proximity to a magnet in the table. The coaster has a metallic plate on which may be positioned a beverage container. The plate is thermally and mechanically coupled to a Peltier cell that either cools or heats the plate, depending on the state of the switch. A thermostat prevents beverage overheating. A second magnetic switch powers the driving coil only if the coaster is present and aligned with the driving coil.

Beverage cooler and heater

A system having a beverage coaster with a receiving coil that can be magnetically coupled or decoupled from a driving coil in a counter, table, bar, and the like. The coaster may be magnetically coupled to the table by moving the coaster into an area where the driving coil generates a magnetic field of sufficient strength. The coaster also includes a switch that activated or deactivated based on its proximity to a magnet in the table. The coaster has a metallic plate on which may be positioned a beverage container. The plate is thermally and mechanically coupled to a Peltier cell that either cools or heats the plate, depending on the state of the switch.

Apparatus for detecting an electrical insult to a gas tubing system and dissipating the energy from such insult. The system includes tubing and an injury mitigator. The tubing includes a conduit, an insulating layer, a conductive layer, and a jacket. The conduit is connected to earth ground. The conductive layer is electrically insulated from the conduit by the insulating layer. The mitigator includes an insult event detection circuit and an energy dissipation circuit, both electrically connected between the conductive layer of the tubing and ground. Insult indication is provided by a fusible link. Energy dissipation is provided by the fuse, a transient voltage suppression (TVS) device, and/or a spark gap. The TVS device has a setpoint voltage less than the breakdown voltage of the spark gap, ensuring that the TVS device actuates before the spark gap conducts.

Dissipative lightning resistant tubing system

Disclosed is a shaving formulation having sesame oil, olive oil, sandalwood oil, broccoli oil, or any combination thereof, which allows for a smooth, non-irritating shave. The disclosed composition is preferably either an aqueous solution or a lotion that does not build up on the skin and preferably has moisturizing, healing, and/or anti-inflammatory properties that prevent or reduce the occurrence of dry skin, irritated/inflamed skin, in-grown hairs, or any combination thereof The disclosed shaving formulations preferably further include anti-microbial properties, anti-septic properties, or any combination thereof. The disclosed shaving formulations have a low viscosity such that the formulations may be applied from spray bottle or a container equipped with an atomizing head in the form of a mist onto a desired bodypart.

Shaving formulation and method of use thereof

Apparatus for detecting an electrical insult to a gas tubing system and dissipating the energy from such insult. The system includes tubing, at least one terminating connector, and an injury mitigator. The tubing includes a conduit, an insulating layer, a conductive layer, and a jacket. The conduit is connected to earth ground. The conductive layer is electrically insulated from the conduit by the insulating layer. The mitigator includes an insult event detection circuit and an energy dissipation circuit, both electrically connected between the conductive layer of the tubing and ground. Lightning resistant gas tubing system

A breathing apparatus having one or more safety sensors that monitor the breathing gas supplied to a ventilation interface for contaminants. Upon detection of a threshold value of a contaminant, the apparatus activates one of more alarms, such as strobe lights, horns and/or piezo buzzers, to waken the user to the dangerous condition. The alarm may also comprise a notification system to first responders.

Breathing apparatus with one or more safety sensors

The present invention provides an apparatus for a threaded plumbing connector to electrically ground pipes. The apparatus includes wire terminal block(s), connecting the threaded plumbing connector body to a wire or other conductive material. In the event that a pipe becomes electrically energized, the grounding connection of the threaded plumbing connector would be able to shunt the electrical current away from the pipes and reduce the risk of fire.

Apparatus and method for a plumbing connector

A protected capacitor system/method implementing enhanced transient over-voltage suppression is disclosed. The system/method incorporates one or more surge suppression devices (SSDs) proximally located and in parallel with a capacitor structure to produce an overall protected capacitor structure having enhanced reliability and simultaneous ability to resist transient overvoltage conditions. The SSDs are formed from series combinations of transient voltage surge suppressors (TVSs) (metal oxide varistor (MOV), diode for alternating current (DIAC), and/or silicon diode for alternating current (SIDAC)) and corresponding shunt diode rectifiers (SDRs) and placed in parallel across a capacitor structure to locally suppress voltage transients across the capacitor structure in excess of the voltage rating of the capacitor structure. The parallel shunting TVS/SDR pairs may be integrated into a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly that is externally attached to the capacitor structure or encapsulated in an enclosure incorporating the capacitor structure.
