Firearm strut tool

A strut tool including a hook portion for engaging an upper receiver assembly and a pivoting portion for engaging the takedown pin of a lower receiver assembly of a firearm that acts as a removable strut for holding the upper and lower receiver assemblies in a relatively aligned open angular position providing access to the inner bores and mechanisms of the firearm. The pivoting portion includes a bore accommodating the placement of the takedown pin in conjunction with the lower receiver assembly providing a pivotal connection permitting the angular alignment of the upper and lower receiver assemblies in an open and fixed position. The hook portion includes a takedown block engagement region that provides a means to accommodate the insertion and engagement of the takedown block present on the upper receiver assembly for the purpose of reversibly positioning and holding the strut tool in said relatively aligned position with respect to the lower receiver assembly. The hook portion optionally includes a upper channel with a longitudinal and semi-circular cutout region providing a guide slot for the relative positioning of cleaning and inspection tools with respect to the inner bore or breach of a rifle.

A magazine mounting platform having at least one mounting fixture for insertion into the magazine compartment of a firearm thus securing the firearm in place. The magazine mounting fixture may include at least one dowel pin operable for insertion into receivers on the platform. Some embodiments may also include a rotational adapter which allows for a firearm mounted on the fixture to be rotated. Risers may be included to provide additional support for a firearm by securing in place a barrel or a stock. Some embodiments may include magazine mounts for M4 carbine type, AR rifle type or Model 1911 pistol type firearms.

Universal magazine mounting system

A device comprising an elongated body having at least one aperture through the body, said aperture silhouetting a barrel bushing for a model 1911 handgun. The device fits snugly and allows the device to operate as a bushing wrench. The aperture may have a longer dimension, said longer dimension substantially perpendicular to the long axis of the elongated body so that the aperture is operable to mate with and operate a barrel bushing. Certain embodiments may include additional openings that silhouette barrel bushings for the same or other firearms or recessed regions on the elongated body adjacent to an aperture that further guide and receive the barrel plug when it is released. The recessed regions may include a ramp section and a plug retention section that act to better hold and guide the barrel plug during removal and insertion operations.

Plug capture device

A tool providing a means to safely extract and/or insert a roll pin from the trigger guard assembly of a lower receiver unit of an automatic or semiautomatic rifle. Current tools fail to provide positive engagement and support of the trigger guard region, particularly the trigger guard lips which can easily be snapped or fractured during a roll pin extraction or insertion process. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides an improved means to align and support a lower receiver unit by means of complementary mating and stop regions that secure the lower receiver in position while providing one or more cutouts that accommodate protruding levers and buttons on the lower receiver. Some embodiments feature a contoured top section having at least one of a plurality of surface features selected from a cutout, a mating region and a stop region; and a roll pin receiving port.
