An approach is provided in which an information handling system trains on a set of historical data that includes a set of first infractions caused by a set of first businesses and a set of fines imposed on the set of first businesses based on the set of first infractions. The trained information handling system then performs a risk assessment of a second business that includes predicting a set of possible infractions of the second business based on a set of characteristics of the second business. Then, the information handling system predicts a set of possible fines corresponding to the set of possible infractions based on the historical data. In turn, the information handling system generates a risk report that includes the set of possible infractions and the corresponding set of possible fines.

Healthcare risk analytics

According to embodiments of the present invention, a notification is provided to a user. A receptacle receives an engaging member of a securing device that engages an entity within an environment. The receptacle includes a sensor to detect a presence of the engaging member of the securing device within the receptacle. An alert unit is disposed within the receptacle and enabled in response to presence of the engaging member of the securing device within the receptacle. A communication device of the alert unit communicates with a target device associated with a user. A processor of the alert unit is configured to determine a distance to the user based on communication with the target device and control notification to the user in response to the distance to the user satisfying a threshold distance.

Entity detection and alert notification

Disclosed aspects relate to wireless power distribution management in an open environment. A key-pair identifier is established in a master server. The key-pair identifier can indicate both a first wireless power target device and a first wireless power source distribution center. The master server detects an indication of a wireless power coupling between the first wireless power target device and a second wireless power source distribution center. A usage assessment is determined for the wireless power coupling by the master server using the key-pair identifier. The usage assessment can relate to the first wireless power source distribution center. The master server may provide or output the usage assessment for the wireless power coupling.

Wireless power distribution management in an open environment

Multiple computer devices are networked, and each computer device stores a bookmark database. A user can add delete or change bookmarks on any of the computer devices. Alterations made to a bookmark database are stored locally. Every alteration is time stamped. If a bookmark is deleted, it is marked as deleted, but not erased from the local bookmark database. Bookmark databases stored on other computer devices are unaffected by changes made to the bookmark database stored on the local device. In order to update and synchronize all the bookmark databases, the local device receives the data from all the other bookmark databases. Then, the time stamps for each bookmark are compared, and the bookmarks with the most recent time stamps are assembled in a new master bookmark database. The new master bookmark database is then sent to all participating devices in the network.

Distributed method for synchronizing and updating bookmarks on multiple computer devices

Multiple computer devices are networked, and one device is designated as a bookmark server. The bookmark server stores and maintains a master bookmark database that is available to all the networked devices. Each bookmark in the bookmark database includes a bookmark time stamp. If a bookmark is added, deleted or changed at any device, then a transaction request is sent to the bookmark server. The transaction request includes a transaction time stamp indicating the time that the transaction request was created. The bookmark server analyzes the transaction requests according to the time stamps. If multiple transaction requests are received for a single bookmark, then only the most recent transaction request is honored and other transaction requests related to the bookmark are ignored. Also, a transaction request is ignored if the transaction time stamp is older than the corresponding bookmark time stamp.
