Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for estimating a trajectory path of an object. An apparatus includes an object module that identifies a target object based on data captured from a first sensor. An apparatus includes a location module that identifies the target location for the target object based on data captured from a second sensor. An apparatus includes a path module that determines an objective path for the target object relative to the target location. An apparatus includes a surface module that identifies a surface of a striking object that is configured to cause the target object to move along a trajectory path towards a target location. A path module estimates the trajectory path of the target object towards the target location and relative to the objective path prior to the striking object contacting the target object.

Estimating a trajectory path of an object

A number of improvements relating to methods and apparatuses for kidney dialysis are disclosed. These include a method providing an apparatus for dialyzing to a consumer, with the apparatus including a controller for controlling a dialysate parameter, a delivery system for delivering the dialysate to a dialysate compartment of a dialyzer, and a user/machine interface having a touch screen to display an indicium corresponding to a parameter pertinent to operation of the apparatus for use in dialysis and to enable a user though touching the indicium to effect a change in the parameter. The method also includes providing supplies that are useable with the apparatus to the consumer.

Methods for providing kidney dialysis equipment and services

A number of improvements relating to methods and apparatuses for kidney dialysis are disclosed. These include checking of dialysate bypass status using flow measurement; using a flow sensor to confirm the absence of ultrafiltration during bypass; automatic testing of ultrafiltration function by removal of a discrete volume from a portion of the dialysate flow path coupled with a pressure test of that part of the flow path; using a touch screen user interface; bar graph profile programming of ultrafiltration, sodium, and bicarbonate parameters; using a RAM card to upload treatment instructions to, and to download treatment data from, the machine; automatic setting of proportioning mode (acetate or bicarbonate) based on connections of concentrate lines; predicting dialysate conductivity values based on brand and formulation of concentrates; minimizing no-flow dead time between dialysate pulses; initiating operation in a timed mode from a machine power-off condition; preserving machine mode during machine power-fail condition; calibration scheduling and reminding; automatic level adjusting; and blood leak flow rate detecting.

These include methods such as supplying a dialysis machine including a touch screen interface to a machine user and supplying to the machine user accessory devices to be used with the dialysis machine in operation.

Methods for kidney dialysis

A medical treatment device is disclosed that utilizes an entertainment displays such as a standard television set, to control the medical treatment device. For example, alarm conditions may be displayed and a user (such as a patient) can respond to such alarm conditions. During an uneventful treatment, the patient can view programs (e.g., television programs) on the entertainment display. The medical treatment device can override the entertainment program and cause the entertainment display to display information related to operation or status of the medical treatment device. The medical treatment device can also include a user input (e.g., keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc.) allowing the patient to move a selector image being displayed by the entertainment display to enable the patient to control the medical treatment device.
