A pharmaceutical composition with an active pharmaceutical ingredient including a pomegranate fruit polyphenol extract. The pomegranate fruit polyphenol extract includes at least about 3% combined punicalagin A and punicalagin B by weight, less than about 5% ellagic acid and their derivatives by weight, and less than about 1% anthocyanins by weight.

Pomegranate fruit polyphenol composition and methods of use and manufacture thereof

The present invention provides a method, composition and product by process of pomegranate seed oil. The present invention provides a novel method for the preparation of pomegranate seeds and the subsequent extraction, stabilization and deodorization of pomegranate seed oil. The process maintains key beneficial components of pomegranate seed oil. Effective processing parameters for separating, drying, cleaning, flaking, obtaining the oil from seeds, stabilizing through refining and bleaching and deodorizing the oil are described.

Oral or enteral dosage forms containing phytochemicals from pomegranates

A method of reducing an involuntary cull in production animals. The method comprising the step of administering to the production animals a composition comprising an effective amount of a pomegranate extract substantially derived from the whole fruits of pomegranate. The pomegranate extract can be in powder, liquid or solid form and mixed into foods as part of a regular regime of the production animals diet. When site specific treatment is needed such as with mastitis in milk cows the pomegranate extract may be injected directly to the site where treatment is desired.
