Described herein is an approach to determine a deflection of a portion of an imaging system tabletop located at iso-center utilizing a tabletop deflection determiner with a least a first portion located on a rotating gantry portion of the imaging system. In one non-limiting instance, an imaging system includes a rotating gantry portion () with an aperture defining an examination region, a tabletop () that supports a subject or object in the examination region, wherein the tabletop cantilevers into and deflects in the examination region, and a tabletop deflection determiner () that determines a deflection of the tabletop in the examination region, wherein a first portion () of the tabletop deflection determiner is located on the rotating gantry portion.

Imaging system subject support

A method includes performing a three dimensional volume scan of a region of interest located in a portion of an object or subject in an examination region, including dynamically collimating a radiation beam used to perform the scan so that a geometry and/or location of the radiation beam tracks, during the scan, to a geometry and/or location of the region of interest, wherein the region of interest is a sub-region of the portion of the object or subject in the examination region.

Dynamic collimation

An adjustable phantom () includes a base (), an actuator () and a phantom (). An ammunition clip or magazine for a firearm including a self-contained system for sensing the amount of ammunition contained within the magazine and visually or audibly indicating that value to the user of the firearm. The counting and indicator system may be configured to display the number of rounds remaining in the magazine itself, or the number of rounds remaining in the firearm overall (the number of ammunition rounds in the magazine plus one round in the chamber of the firearm, if applicable), or it may be configured to simply indicate that the magazine is empty or that the number of rounds remaining in the magazine is below some other predetermined threshold. The magazine may be utilized in conjunction with any suitable firearm without modifying the firearm.
