A device according to the present invention having a turnbuckle for manually locking and unlocking a display holder used to display information on vehicles and on structures. The turnbuckle is paired with a base. The combination of the turnbuckle and the base are removably coupled with the display holder where the turnbuckles are turned to lock the display holder in place. The combination of the turnbuckle and the base provide for increased frictional stability of the turnbuckle and the display holder. The display holder provides a sleeve or surface upon which information may be placed in or printed upon. The combination of the turnbuckle, the base and the display holder provides for a fixture. The turnbuckle may be paired with multiple embodiments of the base, support multiple embodiments of the display holder, and incorporated in multiple embodiments of the fixture. A method of pairing the turnbuckle with the base is provided as well.

Fastener assembly for display cards, signs and the like

A device according to the present invention provides for an improved display card holder assembly and methods of operation. Wherein the improved assembly provides for a sleeve, collar and holder in removable communication to increase stability and reduce vibration of the card holder assembly. The assembly providing for a first embodiment comprising a holder comprising a button mechanism and nodes, and a sleeve comprising tabs and extensions, for increased stability. The assembly providing for a second embodiment comprising a holder comprising a lever mechanism, and at least one of an over-mold and assembled sleeve/collar combination, for increased stability. The assembly providing for a third embodiment comprising a holder comprising a hinge mechanism for increased stability. The invention further providing for methods of operation of the embodiments.

Display card holder assembly and methods

A waste container having a body and a lid pivotably connected to the body. The lid includes a gravity activated locking mechanism having a latch that engages the lid to the body when the container is in an upright position. The locking mechanism rotates to disengage the latch and allow the lid to open when the container is inverted for dumping the waste. The waste container further including a slideable member that is engageable with a locking member when the container is not in an upright position or inverted for dumping, to prevent rotation of the locking mechanism and opening of the lid.
