A vehicle front suspension includes a suspension support structure, a transverse link, a front link breakaway structure and a rear link breakaway structure. The transverse link has an inboard side with a front connection structure connecting a front end of the transverse link to the suspension support at a first location and a rear connection structure pivotally connecting a rear end of the transverse link to the suspension support at a second location that is spaced rearwardly of the first location. The front link breakaway structure is configured to release the front end of the transverse link from the suspension support upon application of a prescribed rearward directed force on the vehicle front suspension outboard of the suspension support structure. The rear link breakaway structure is configured to release the rear connection structure of the transverse link from the suspension support upon rearward rotation of the transverse link about the rear connection structure.

Vehicle front suspension

A vehicle roof assembly includes a vehicle roof structure, an accessory frame and a moveable member. The vehicle roof structure includes a first roof section with a mounting slot and a second roof section with a mounting structure. The accessory frame includes a first frame end that includes a mounting flange, and a second frame end that includes a complementary mounting structure. The mounting flange engages the mounting slot to couple the accessory frame to the vehicle roof structure and to enable the accessory frame to pivot relative to the vehicle roof structure between a pre-installation position and an installed position where the complementary mounting structure engages the mounting structure. The movable member is coupled to the accessory frame and moves between a first position proximate to one of the first and second frame ends, and a second position proximate to the other of the first and second frame ends.

Vehicle roof assembly

A cargo bed storage structure is provided for a vehicle. The cargo bed storage structure includes a cargo bed having a floor and a wall. The wall has a first portion extending substantially perpendicularly from the floor and a second portion extending inboard from the first portion. An attachment member is fixed to a lower surface of the second portion of the wall. A tie-down device has a first end that is fixed to the first portion of the wall. The tie-down device is operative in a stowed configuration and a usage configuration. The second end of the tie-down device is releasably engaged with the attachment member when the tie-down device is in the stowed configuration such that the tie-down device is disposed entirely outboard of an inboard distal end of the second portion of the wall.

Cargo bed storage structure for a vehicle

A roof structure for a vehicle can include a tailor-welded-blank, inner roof frame. The inner roof frame can include, at least in part, an elongated, transversely extending, intermediate roof rail having a first material thickness, and a plurality of reinforced roof rails. Each of the reinforced roof rails can extend away from the intermediate roof rail in a common direction toward a remote end of the inner roof frame. Each of the reinforced roof rails can have a different material thickness than the first material thickness of the intermediate roof rail.

Roof inner body structure

An access assembly for a vehicle body. The access assembly includes a body panel movably mounted to the vehicle body for movement between an open position and a closed position and defining an access opening. A door assembly is provided on the body panel and has a cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. A vehicle component is disposed in a substantially fixed position with respect to the vehicle body, the vehicle component having a receptacle that is substantially aligned with the access opening when the body panel is in the closed position. The access opening is exposed when the cover is in the open position, and the access opening is concealed when the cover is in the closed position.

Vehicle access assembly

A striker apparatus for mounting to a support structure of a vehicle and for engagement with a corresponding latching mechanism can include a striker, and a base plate for supporting the striker extending outwardly from a first surface. A second surface opposite from the first surface of the base plate can include at least one radius of curvature defining a generally concave profile on the second surface or through the entire base plate. The base plate includes sufficient flexure to be substantially positioned in mating contact with a support structure of the vehicle when attached by one or more fasteners.

Crowned striker mounting plate

A vehicle window interior shade assembly includes a vehicle shade support structure, a first shade, a second shade, and a trim member. The vehicle shade support structure is configured for installation adjacent to a window opening. The first shade and second shades are movably coupled to the vehicle shade support structure to move between respective retracted positions and extended positions. The trim member is coupled to a first leading edge portion of the first shade and includes an elongated recess configured to releasably receive a second leading edge portion of the second shade to form a continuous shade structure when the first and second shades are in both in their extended positions.

Vehicle window interior shade assembly

A vehicle combination light for use in a vehicle having a compartment includes a housing and a combination light unit arranged in the housing and directed to at least a front or a rear of the vehicle. An accessory light unit is arranged in the housing and directed to an interior of the compartment, such that the accessory light unit is aligned with an opening in a wall of the vehicle that faces toward the interior of the compartment in order to illuminate the interior of the compartment.
