A wall panel system including a plurality of wall panels that can be positioned adjacent to each other. Each of the individual wall panels includes an attachment slot that is positioned between upper and lower panel sections. The attachment slot allows external components to be mounted to the wall panel. Each individual wall panel includes a height adjustment mechanism having a support block positioned within an open interior of a bottom cross support rail. The support block receives an adjustment rod that is rotatable to adjust the height of the wall panel. The support block of the height adjustment mechanism includes support flanges that support the weight of the wall panel. The top cross support rail includes an attachment slot that receives a door track for supporting a sliding door. The attachment slot that receives the door track corresponds to the attachment slot positioned between upper and lower panel sections.

Wall panel system

An adjustable armrest assembly for a chair provides adjustment in both the vertical and horizontal position of an armrest member. A tubular member is adapted for telescopic mounting to an upwardly extending support member mounted to the chair. The support member includes a series of spaced teeth defining indentations therebetween. The armrest assembly includes a pivotable latch member which is secured to the tubular member utilizing a cap member mounted to the upper end of a passage defined by the tubular member. The cap member and the tubular member define cooperating mounting structure for providing pivoting movement of the latch member. The latch member is movable between an engaged position, in which the latch member is engaged with an indentation between the teeth defined by the support member, and a disengaged position in which the latch member is moved out of engagement with the teeth. The latch member includes a manually operable trigger section for moving the latch member between its engaged and disengaged positions. An armrest member includes a base section and an arm cap. The base section of the armrest member is pivotably mounted to the cap member via a fastener which both secures the base section to the cap member and defines the pivot axis about which the base section is pivotable. The cap member includes spaced indentations. A spring member is mounted to the base section, and includes a protrusion received within a selected one of the indentations for providing a click-type detent for selectively maintaining the armrest member in a predetermined angular orientation.

A mechanism for releasably mounting a chair back to a back support member comprises a connecting pin secured to the support member, and a receiver member secured to the chair back and receiving the connecting pin. The connecting pin is slidable and pivotable with respect to the receiver member along a longitudinal axis of the connecting pin between a locked position in which the chair back is joined to the chair support member, and a release position in which the chair back is separable from the chair support member. A locking bar is slidable into engagement with the receiver member for establishing the locked position, and is disengageable from the receiver member to enable movement of the chair back to the release position.
