The present disclosure describes a shoe that may be transformed from a high heel shoe to a low heel shoe. The shoe may include three parts: a removable stelo, a removable high heel attachment, and the corresponding attachment systems integrated into the base shoe sole. The removable high heel attachment may be a standard heel of any design, width and height that has a locking system comprising a threaded post located at the heel base. When the stelo and heel attachment are attached, the shoe may be a high heel shoe. When they are removed, the shoe may be a low heel shoe, or flat shoe.

Fully convertible high heel-to-flat shoe

Footwear assembly comprising a foot bed in an interior area defined by an upper and positioned atop a sole assembly, wherein the foot bed has a plurality of air holes through the forefoot and/or arch portions, and has air channels connected to the air holes. A compressible convex pump in the foot bed's heel portion faces the sole assembly and is movable between expanded and compressed positions. In the expanded position, the pump supports a portion of the heel portion apart from the sole assembly to define an air chamber coupled to the air channels. Movement of the pump member from the expanded position to the compressed position causes the air chamber to collapse and forces air from the air chamber through the air channels and upwardly through the air holes into the interior area of the upper, wherein the pump member is biased toward the expanded position.

Footwear airflow system

The invention is directed to intelligent systems for articles of footwear that adjust automatically in response to a measured performance characteristic. The intelligent systems include one or more adjustable elements coupled to a mechanism that actuates the adjustable elements in response to a signal from a sensor to modify the performance characteristic of the article of footwear. The intelligent system adjusts the performance characteristics of the article of footwear without human intervention.
