Systems and methods are provided for supporting a head of a user, e.g., while the user inclines their head downward, leans forward, and the like, for extended periods of time. In one example, a harness is provided that is configured to be worn on a body of a user, the harness including a shoulder harness configured to be worn over or around one or both shoulders of the user, and a head support. The head support may include a support bracket including a first end mounted to the harness, and a rest member coupled to a second end of the support bracket such that the rest member extends across a forehead of the user and/or at least partially around the user's head when the harness is worn for supporting the user's forehead.

Head support systems and methods for use

Systems and methods are provided for supporting one or both legs of a user using a harness configured to be worn on a body of a user; and a leg support coupled to the harness configured to support a leg of the user, the leg support configured to accommodate movement of the leg while following the movement without substantially interfering with the movement of the user's arm. One or more compensation elements may be coupled to the leg support to apply an offset force to at least partially offset a gravitational force acting on the leg as the user moves and the leg support follows the movement of the user's leg, the one or more compensation elements providing a force profile that varies the offset force based on an orientation of the leg support.

Leg augmentation systems and methods for use

A system is provided for supporting an arm of a user that includes a harness configured to be worn by the user, and an arm support coupled to the harness and including an arm rest to support an arm of the user. The arm support is configured to accommodate and follow movement of the arm without substantially interfering in such movement. The arm support may at least partially offset a gravitational force acting on the arm as the user moves and the arm support follows the movement of the user's arm. For example, the arm support may transfer at least a portion of the weight of the user's arm to the torso or other region of the user's body and/or may apply an opposing force to at least partially offset the gravitational force acting on the arm.

Adaptive arm support systems and methods for use

Systems and methods are provided for supporting a head of a user, e.g., while the user inclines their head downward, leans forward, and the like, for extended periods of time. In an exemplary embodiment, a harness is provided that is configured to be worn on a body of a user, the harness including a shoulder harness configured to be worn over or around one or both shoulders of the user, and a head support. The head support may include a support bracket including a first end mounted to the harness, and a rest member coupled to a second end of the support bracket such that the rest member extends across a forehead of the user and/or at least partially around the user's head when the harness is worn for supporting the user's forehead.

Systems and methods are provided for delivering single-dose packages sequentially from a substantially continuous strip having a first dispensing end and a second end, e.g., contained within a cassette or other dispenser. The strip includes a cover layer attached to a base layer to define a plurality of blisters therebetween that have one or more medications therein. The blisters are aligned in single file generally along the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends and/or otherwise arranged in single-dose packages adjacent one another, e.g., at least some of the single-dose packages including a plurality of blisters having different types of medications therein. A first single-dose package at the first dispensing end may be separable from a second adjacent single-dose package such that individual single-dose packages may be removed successively from the first dispensing end.

Packaging systems and methods

Systems and methods are provided for supporting an arm of a user that includes a harness configured to be worn by the user, and an arm support coupled to the harness and including an arm rest to support an arm of the user. One or more compensation elements may be coupled to the arm support and/or the tool mount for at least partially offsetting a gravitational force acting on the user's arm and/or the tool received on the tool mount.

An overforce mechanism comprising a driving assembly, a driven assembly, and a variably engageable coupling, shunts or dampens a motion of a control cylinder for a hydraulic device when that motion exceeds a predefined, unsafe threshold. The overforce mechanism avoids or reduces damage either to the device itself, to ancillary devices and/or to the patient. In an aspect, the variably engageable coupling may include a biasing mechanism and a coupling member, wherein the biasing mechanism automatically resets or releases upon reaching a force or tension threshold. Further, the overforce driven assembly may include an overforce rod that allows the force or motion to be channeled away from the source. The variably engageable coupling may comprise a dowel and spring mechanism that automatically resets with tension.
