An improved trimmer is structured to be held in the palm of a user's hand. The trimmer has a grinding drum that is advantageously structured to be situated in a palmar region of the user's hand that can be said to extend from the palm and to be generally bounded by the fingertips. When the trimmer is held in the palmar region, the thumb and certain fingers can support the trimmer, and other fingers that are not necessarily employed in supporting the trimmer are usable to operate a control switch of the trimmer. The control switch controls operation of a drive motor that is connected with a grinding drum which provides abrasive surfaces that are engageable with the animal nail or claw.

Nail or claw trimmer for use with pets

One embodiment may take the form of a litter box having a base portion having a floor and a plurality of walls extending in an upward direction from the floor. The litter box may also have a cover portion having a ceiling and a plurality of walls extending in a downward direction from the ceiling. The base portion and the cover portion may combine to define an inner cavity. The litter box may also include a circulating filter in communication with the inner cavity of the litter box and the circulating filter may be configured to filter air from within the inner cavity of the litter box.

A thermoelectric unit for a thermoelectric insulated container. The thermoelectric unit is configured to be inserted in a small opening in the insulated container. A cold side heat sink is mounted on the portion of the thermoelectric unit that extends inside of the insulated container, and a hot side heat sink is mounted on a portion of the thermoelectric unit that extends outside. The thermoelectric unit is arranged so that a thermoelectric module for the thermoelectric unit, the cold side heat sink, and the hot side heat sink are aligned linearly. A hot side fan and motor unit is mounted on the outside of the hot side heat sink and a cold side fan and motor unit is mounted on the outside of the cold side heat sink. The hot and cold side fan and motor units may also be mounted linearly with the hot and cold side heat sinks.

Structural support apparatus with active or passive heat transfer system with a flexible insulated container, a rigid heat-conductive metallic element, a heat exchange system, where the metallic element structurally supports the container. The metallic element and container form a waterproof bond, and the metallic element and heat exchange system form a thermal bond. A preferred embodiment includes a flexible insulated container forming a closed volume with a plurality of flexible walls.

Structural support apparatus with active or passive heat transfer system

A thermoelectric sleeve-type beverage insulator apparatus with a printable sleeve-type insulated jacket with a rigid enclosure mean, a thermoelectric engine assembly incorporated into the sleeve-type insulated jacket, an electrical connection mean connected to the thermoelectric engine assembly and secured to the rigid enclosure mean of the sleeve-type insulated jacket, a support base with mechanical connection mean and electrical connection mean, and an electrical power transmission mean between a power source and the support base. A preferred embodiment includes the printable sleeve-type insulated jacket that is made of printable tubular foam insulating member having an open top and closed base, an inner surface and partially exposed outer surface, a longitudinal groove on the inner surface reaching from the open top to the closed base and extending to the radial middle of the closed base, where the printable tubular foam insulating member allows use of the apparatus as an advertising medium. A preferred embodiment includes the printable tubular foam insulating member radial and longitudinal inner surface dimensions are compatible with standard individual beverage containers, where overall dimensions and aesthetic look make it recognizable as a very common beverage insulating device, also known as &ldquo;koozie&rdquo;, and where the apparatus enables cooling or heating of standard beverage containers risk-free of contamination and in-between usage cleaning.
