Technologies and techniques for controlling a lighting device of a motor vehicle, which includes at least one display surface and/or at least one lighting unit. At least one image capable of being provided by a mobile terminal and/or by an external computing device automatically selected; image data describing the at least one selected image is received; and image content information, which describes a color gradient of the at least one selected image, is determined by applying an image content determination criterion to the provided image data. The lighting device is controlled considering the determined image content information, wherein an appearance generated by means of the lighting device is adapted to the color gradient of the at least one selected image.

Method for controlling a lighting device of a motor vehicle

A device for temperature control for a motor vehicle, includes a diffractive optical element disposed on a surface of the motor vehicle, and a radiator. The diffractive optical element couples in incident radiation and conducts the coupled-in incident radiation away from an area of the motor vehicle to be cooled. The radiator includes an absorber to absorb the coupled-in incident radiation which is conducted to the absorber from the diffractive optical element. The radiator releases energy based on the coupled-in incident radiation absorbed by the absorber.
