A system having a building control device with on-demand outside server functionality. It may have a building control device connected to a thin user interface client and/or a rich client user interface. The building control device may be connected to an external server from a computing cloud environment to extend the functionality, storage and processing, among other things, of the building control device.

The present invention provides a hand worn smoking device comprising a glove having a burning reservoir for containing substance to be smoked, a reservoir closing feature, a smoke transport pathway, and an oral interface wherein the burning reservoir is connected to the oral interface via the smoke transport pathway allowing the burning reservoir to be in smoke communication with the oral interface during use. The present invention also includes a method of smoking the substance to be smoked using this device.

A system for surrogate control of a space that incurs an ineffective sensor connection with its controller for running environmental conditioning equipment to maintain the space at one or more certain environmental parameters such as temperature. A selection of a surrogate space from which the surrogate control is obtained, may be made by correlation of data over time and specifications of other spaces in a building complex. The surrogate control may be from the controller of the space selected for control of the space having the ineffective sensor connection. The surrogate space may be a construct of one or more spaces. It may be based on a virtual space that combines behaviors of other spaces for a good match. Diagnostics may be effected from information about spaces in the system.

Surrogate-based control system

A building management system for one or more buildings, having a processor and a display for showing a model of a building being managed. The model may be shown as a three dimensional depiction or rendition, or a virtual building. A database may provide information regarding sensors, actuators and other items which may be viewed in conjunction with the displayed model. Information regarding the location and status of the sensors, control devices, and the like, which may be points of interest, may be mapped on the virtual depiction or model of the building. A user or operator may thus move through the building and view and affect rooms, sensing and control devices, and other items, including quick navigation to points of interest, in virtual reality. A recorder and play mechanism may be a significant portion of the system for recording structures, parameters, environment, events and other information of the system.
