A marker plate embossing system is provided having an improved loading device, and improved chute and hopper systems. The loading device reduces the likelihood of marker plate misfeed. The chute and hopper systems allow the embossing of varying sized embossing plates, while reducing the likelihood of embossed marker plates being delivered in an incorrect stacked-order. A marker plate removal system is also provided for removing embossed marker plates from the hopper system without the marker plates falling out of the stacked-order.

A portable automatic cable tie installation tool for applying individual cable ties around bundles of wires or the like utilizing a rotary driven rod having a helical groove longitudinally formed along the rod as the cable tie advancing mechanism.

Portable cable tie installation tool

A portable cable application tool for fastening an individual cable tie around an object where the cable tie has a strap and a strap locking head and is provided in a continuous ribbon of cable ties includes upper and lower jaws for positioning the cable tie around an object to be fastened. The tool includes a cable advancing means for advancing an individual cable tie within the tool having a carriage, a carriage mounting means for mounting the carriage to the tool for reciprocal movement between a rearward position and a forward position and cable tie pusher means carried on the carriage for pushing a cable tie from a cable tie receiver means to upper and lower jaws of the tool. The carriage includes insertion cam means disposed for engaging a linkage means to pivot the upper jaw and insert the cable tie when the carriage is advanced to the forward position whereby the movement of the carriage effects the timed advancement of the cable tie within the tool and the timed insertion of the cable tie through the locking head of the cable tie.

Portable cable tie tool

A single cable tie loading gate assembly for an automatic cable tie installation tool includes a sliding gate disposed adjacent a cable tie ejection channel. The sliding gate is movable between a closed position sealing the cable tie ejection channel and an open position allowing insertion of a cable tie into the ejection channel for subsequent pneumatic propulsion to the cable tie application mechanisms of the tool.
