A paintball gun comprises: a body defining a gas storage chamber for connection to a source of pressurized gas, a breech into which paintballs can be loaded, and a hammer chamber; a bolt slidable in the breech and having a bolt inlet port; a hammer slidable in the hammer chamber and connected to the bolt; and a poppet valve comprising a valve body defining a valve inlet connected to the storage chamber, a valve outlet connected to the breech, and a blow back port connecting the inlet to the hammer chamber, and a valve member slidable in the valve body and movable between an open position, in which it allows gas to flow from the storage chamber through the valve inlet to the valve outlet, and a closed position in which it closes the valve, and a pair of magnets arranged to bias the poppet towards the closed position.

Low pressure paintball guns

A goggle, for use, for example, in paintball, comprises a lens, a body structurefor the lens and a strap. The body structure defines an ocular chamberthat covers the wearer's eyes, and an exhalation chamberthat covers the wearer's nose and mouth. An inlet plenum channelleads from an inlet chamberin the front of the goggleup to the lower edge of the lens, and a fanin the plenum channelblows air from the inlet upwards across the inner surface of the lens. Air exhaled by the wearer leaves the exhalation chamber through outlet aperturesin the bottom of the mask, and is therefore directed away from the duct inlet chamber

Goggles

A paintball container comprises a body and a lid . The lid is hinged to the body at one side, and has a tab at the other side to facilitate opening of the container. The body has a guard formed on it adjacent to the tab on the lid. The guard is substantially U-shaped and bounds a recess into which a user can insert their thumb to pull up the tab to release the lid. The guard prevents accidental opening of the lid, for example when the container is being removed from a harness in which it is being carried.
