A reusable holder for contact lens cases includes a base, at least one receptacle formed in the base configured to receive a contact lens case, and a time keeping device formed in the base. The time keeping device may include an indicator for the at least one receptacle that indicates a period of time that has lapsed since the contact lens case currently in the at least one receptacle was placed therein to denote a need to discard the contact lens case and a contact lens associated with the contact lens case.

A contact lens package that is reusable as a case to store a contact lens between uses includes a lid, a base, one or more receptacles for a contact lens case, and a time keeping device. The time keeping device comprises an indicator for each one or more receptacles that indicates a period of time that has elapsed since the contact lens case currently in the receptacle was placed therein. When the period of time has expired, the indicator denotes a need to discard both the contact lens case and a contact lens associated with the contact lens case.

The present invention provides movable visual communication systems, more specifically movable electronic whiteboard systems. The invention provides an electronic whiteboard having at least one positioning member and a guide element adapted to receive the positioning member, wherein the electronic whiteboard and the positioning member are movable along the guide element. The guide element can house an extendable or retractable line that maintains connectivity with the electronic whiteboard at any point along the guide element.

The present invention includes a disc drive shocker having a fast valve which can be moved from a full on position to a full off position within a desired interval of time to impart a shock to a disc drive. The valve is connected to a valve actuator which moves the valve spool within the valve housing. The valve actuator is connected to the valve spool though a lever. The lever is pivotable about a fulcrum. The pivot point of the fulcrum is adjusted, away from center, such that the end of the lever connected to the valve spool moves more quickly than the end of the lever connected to the valve actuator.

A utility hub for post and beam furniture systems includes a housing defining an interior space, having a radially disposed notch adapted to laterally receive a vertically extending post therein, and including at least first aperture adapted to allow access to an electrical power receptacle and at least one second aperture adapted to allow access to a communication receptacle. The utility hub also includes a divider member located within the interior space of the housing and substantially dividing the interior space into a first section that includes the first aperture, and a second section that includes the second aperture, and a housing insert located within the notch of the housing, operably connected to the housing, and cooperating with the housing to define a central aperture adapted to receive the post therein.
